I believe this is kinda the original topic of the thread.

I'm sure there ARE things about Kevin that need to be addressed, but Joe went about it ALL WRONG. And now we are all left to fend for ourselves, pick up the pieces and figure it out without taking anything Joe says as fact. Because everything Joe says at this point is a joke.

He keeps quoting his pics of snakes and saying everyone is wrong, even when there is so much proof that his animals are NOT what he thinks they are. He will just keep gorilla thumping his chest, swearing we are all idiots who can't see things for ourselves.

Anyway....yes...Kevin should address and/or alter the way he is advertising the animals, as everyone is basically aware now that no "hidden gene" is actually involved with anything going on.

Kevin has stated his line of lessers makes more stunning Soul Suckers then other lessers...which is his reasoning behind saying what he says. I do not agree with this, but can kinda understand it. He SHOULD say that in his ads tho, instead of more confusing "hidden gene" BS

I am aware of the accusations in this thread (regarding the HGW) as well as the lack of any real proof behind these accusations. I guess I was unaware (or misunderstood) of the "Hidden Gene Lesser" part...which is not really what this thread is about...But I guess the topics could be somewhat related.

In my opinion...This thread is really not flattering for either party involved. Sticking to the topic at hand...The onus is on PHR to PROVE what they claim is true. This "rule" on the BOI is pretty widely understood.

I don't think Kevin will be coming back to address anything here, so it's still on Joe to prove whatever he wishes. I have yet to see any solid proof of anything (not counting hidden gene lessers...Kevin has already made a statement about that)

the last post by kelli and johnny were pretty much dead on all this crap flinging is making me dizzy. what do i get from this as an enthusiast? i just started collecting and enjoying ball pythons in the last couple years. people who want to sell hidden gene lessers and need to have snakes named after themselves for profit really show the ugly side. ive bought snakes from a few of the people here and what i know to be true.is my first collection of amazon basin emeralds was lost because someone at ghi reptiles told me to buy a snake that was obviously thin and frail but it just needed a few feedings as it was a wild caught. within three months all my snakes were either viral or dead. then came the excuses you touched a water bowl , didnt properly quarantine, wash your hands before moving something.all of which i know i did. how? because i was there. i then watched the same individual purchase a basin at a show after i told him i just saw the guy selling probe 3 snakes without cleaning the probe. i then find out mr ghi isnt even a breeder all his snakes were being bred at a friends facility that specializes in emeralds. i actually gave up on the industry for 5 or 6 yrs because of this type of crap. it's also becoming pretty clear someones breeding for him now with his fresh collection of pics that it seemed to take some time to produce. im currently living with an importer who has been in the reptile business for 30yrs. and have heard some pretty shady conversations with some "big guys" in the industry. even a certain kevin on the speaker phone laughing about how he'got so many morphs he just throws a bunch of snakes together and waits to see what he gets. sorry to all who bought hidden gene lessers my lesser was only$300 and i will be purchasing my hgw from anyone but these guys . as for powerhouse ive bought a few animals from them and theyre all solid and doing fine. i know from reading this thread a few of you have a strong dislike for them but i havent really heard any reasons other than im on the side w/ the bigger rep. i know joe gets abit exited when he's wheelin and dealin but i dont see whats wrong with being exited about selling and owning cutting edge projects. i wish that was my job. im not trying to preach but powerhouse is the only people i've dealt with that has always answered all my questions shown me their facility and offered me a few thing i wish i could have jumped on because the prices were better. it looks like their ad was pulled because alot of big shots were afraid of losing money. i have a feeling another thread from hell will be here when people start looking to prove out theyre magic granites. it's a shame when such a great hobby is ruled by greed. i swear all of the above is the truth as ive seen it. ill bet ghi couldnt tell a woma,spark or yellowbelly from a normal [well maybe the yellowbelly]and please all you genetic engineers dont waste youre time. im not really interested in hearing about whats real and whats not. gotta go i just found a hidden gene lesser granite in my backyard

Wouldn't the line in bold fall under third party information?? If that is in deed the case and your currently living with an importer what's his/her name?? A simple email/phone call can clear that up to see if indeed your telling the truth... Although somehow I seriously doubt you are... Not with everything listed above just the line in bold...

Thanks, Dennis - That was the last straw for me to see. Do we all need to become friends with the Mods on this site to make certain they are on our side, before we consider posting about someone on the BOI?

It appears to me that you are misinformed about the official and personal involvement of moderators on this site. They are not demanded, nor asked, to give up their own personal opinions and personal involvement in this site in order to become moderators here. They are free to take part in any thread on this site that captures their interest, and completely free to express their opinions as they see fit as REGULAR members. Where you may be confused is that I have asked the mods to use "BLUE" text when posting as a moderator instead of as a personal post, and I have to admit that Dennis's choice of "NAVY" to color his personal text may be just a bit too close to "BLUE" to keep the dividing line obvious.

But in any event, I don't see how anything a moderator can post, whether as a moderator or as a regular member, can be considered as a conflict of interest if the moderator does not have any financial stake in neither of the parties, as far as this site is concerned. And certainly I have not seen Dennis act in any capacity whatsoever that would indicate to me that he is using his powers as a moderator to try to influence the discussion in any way above and beyond what any regular member can do here.

If your evidence and observations are contrary to mine, please PM me those details for my review.

As far as Kevin's supposed "statement" about throwing all the morphs he has together and seeing what he gets...Kevin has made similar statements in videos he has posted as well, saying he paired this and that, and is unaware of exactly which out of ALL the genes in those TWO snakes made the offspring that look WAY insane.

If you paired a 5 gene snake to another 5 gene snake, you would most likely start to have issues identifying the ALL offspring's genetics as well until you bred that offspring out.

I don't think people's inability (including Kevin's) to perfectly dissect a possible 6-10 gene trait animal has anything to do with HGW's

Above is a photograph of the founding Dam. It was released by N.E.R.D. by mistake. Maybe the flames did not show through because it was just a hatchling or for whatever reason only Kevin could tell us. It’s the subtle snakes like the Het Highways and the Original Hidden Gene Womas that get missed because they are not screaming look at me.

You let the founding 2002 or 2003 Dam out by mistake obviously before you proved out you Granite Hidden Gene Woma in 2006 as it is recorded.

You also contradict yourself, because you claim that Kevin's snakes look different because of the "granite" gene and yet....

The animals that are listed on your Morph Page that are labeled Granite Hidden Gene Woma are actually just a single mutation animal. There is NO Granite gene involved. We would like this clarified as it is confusing people about the morph.

Joe...you CANNOT have it both ways. I do agree that is MORE then possible that Kevin's animals don't carry granite genes...but that doesn't explain why YOUR animal would look so different then does it?

I want proof that Kevin agrees that snake was released BY MISTAKE as you claim, and not just sold as a NORMAL woma in the first place.

First I would like to say - Joe/Clark you have very beautiful snakes (Regular woma crosses).

Sloan Reptiles and GHI Reptile - amazing snakes. Thank you for showing all of us what HGW stuff and their crosses look like.

Joe thank you for starting this thread as now we can plainly see the difference between them. At least some of us learned something.

Now, I came to this thread because Joe "had proof" and was going to expose Kevin. What I have found is Joe has no proof of anything or hasn't shown it yet. If you are going to make claims (emails) try substantiating them. No one has a thing to PROVE but you, as you started this whole thing.

I think that the blame for all 50+ pages of mostly dribble should go to Fauna. This is clearly a regular thread and not a BOI. And if there is no validity to the claims that are made to discredit, tarnish, or ruin a person, then this defeats the purpose. The mods should have shut this down long ago. As well they should have made Joe show his proof before letting him do this again. So anyone can come on this BOI and lay false claims about a person for personal reasons? This thread is highly unprofessional and attacks the integrity of not only Fauna but the reptile community as a whole.

And Joe - a legion of Evil Morph God disciples did not descend down on the WOBP and demand your snakes be removed. The WOBP looked at this thread and saw the pics from Sloan And GHI. Snakes that come from NERD and not second hand from a third party (I would like to know who this breeder is and their take on this). And they could see like everyone else (except the poor guy who paid $17,500) that your snakes are great examples of Regular woma crosses. Sloan and GHI show great examples of HGW crosses.

Actually Joe...Kevin is on vacation and is not following the thread as far as I know. I just spoke with him this morning. I also suggested that to him to not bother posting because you are just trying to get under his skin. Everyone knows what the hidden gene womas can do and what the normals womas can do.
