So anyone can come on this BOI and lay false claims about a person for personal reasons?

Anyone can post on the BOI whatever they want as long as it abides by the rules. It is up to the readers to take it in and make their own decisions based on the evidence (or lack there-of) that is presented. If someone chose to come on here and spout off about someone but did not present any proof then they generally are not believed. There's also been quite a few times where a bad guy thread was started, the other party posts their evidence and it turns out the OP is actually the bad guy.

If you or anyone else would like to further discuss this issue or the merits of the BOI in general, let's take it to the feedback forum so this thread does not continue off topic.

I think that the blame for all 50+ pages of mostly dribble should go to Fauna. This is clearly a regular thread and not a BOI. And if there is no validity to the claims that are made to discredit, tarnish, or ruin a person, then this defeats the purpose. The mods should have shut this down long ago. As well they should have made Joe show his proof before letting him do this again. So anyone can come on this BOI and lay false claims about a person for personal reasons? This thread is highly unprofessional and attacks the integrity of not only Fauna but the reptile community as a whole.

And I think that just because you apparently do not understand the philosophy behind the design of the BOI is no reason for me to change it just so you will be able to understand and agree with that design. If you want information straight jacketed, filtered, and edited to maintain some sort of status quo, protect some chosen individuals from scrutiny, disallow some individuals to post their opinions, or in any way have management here try to influence and control what information is allowed to be shown to the public at large, then I think that I need to point out to you that you have come to the wrong place.

Dennis, First off- When you are a Moderator on this site and you post on a thread in BLUE TYPE, It may appear to some that you are making that statement as a Moderator.

Second-My quote was in the format of a question??? If I was making a statement, I would have ended my sentence in a period.

I have addressed the situation with Rich, I understand and agree that you should have your opinions and the right to voice them. If you would have posted your reply in regular black font, we would not be having this debate in the first place.

Point out ONE person who has NOT bought from PHR, who agrees with him. Just one.

I've purchased from Joe in the past and I will say he is wrong and I agree with everyone else that his Woma does not compare to the pictured HGW.

Steve Kind did own this animal and I was told the very same information that Joe was regarding the Woma in question. I was very skeptical that it was a HGW considering my own Woma looks very similar. Back in 2010 I sent the pic of this animal to Matt Lerer and a few others for feedback and I was told it was not a HGW back then and comparing the HGW combos to Woma combos there is no comparison.

So Joe...you DID NOT buy that animal from Kevin as a hidden gene woma, you bought it from Steve Kind...at this point...it really doesn't matter if Steve Kind told you it was a HGW, it has been proven by many people that it simply is NOT.

I'm happy I never moved forward in any trades. Steve was very adamant still that it was a HGW even after I told him I was told it was just a Woma.

Having followed this for about a week I decided to join so I could say that the "hidden gene" part of hidden gene woma has always seemed very misleading to me, but I could have cared less if the granite part was tacked onto the end or not. Just the same it is a spectacular animal and is one of the animals on my list to buy this year (not the PHR knockoff version).

Also I would like Joe at PHR to know that my "normal" woma female looks exactly the same as your "hidden gene" woma when it is in deep shed, and would like to know what other drama you have to bring to this forum. I only ask because I suffer from insomnia and late at night when I can't sleep I read your tall tales and pass right out.

It's still a no-brainer Steve and nothing has changed...it's not a hidden gene woma. If people didn't let their personal feelings get involved and just look at it for what it is (honestly) it should be obvious to everyone that it's not a hidden gene woma.

Clark and joe of phr bought thier orignal woma from steve kind as a regular woma. Now that they made the pewter woma cross and it looks soul suckerish they are claiming that it is a hgw. not a regular woma because it has flames and opalescent sheen. That pewter hgw less is just a pewter woma lesser nothing more it has way to much pattern and color is to off to be soul sucker, not to mention the eye color doesnt match up at all.

The scoop directly from Kevin McCurley...

I spoke with Kevin this morning and have updated him on the thread a bit so here is what he told me.

The original normal woma was a male. Kevin kept that animal for a few seasons and then shipped him to his partner in California. He wanted to go in the hidden gene woma direction and not the normal woma direction so he shipped him out.

Kevin did see a photo of the woma from Steve Kind and when he spoke with Steve he told him it was a normal woma. He said that Steve was firm in his belief that it was a hidden gene woma and not wanting to "rain on his parade" Kevin suggested that to Steve that he just breed it and find out. Kevin saw one of the babies from that animal and he said it was also a normal woma.

That should clear the woma thing up...
