Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

turtlesale.com BAD GUY

I started a thread

about these people awhile ago about how they were selling and breeding defective turtles! These people need to be stopped!
 
What I don't understand is how they stay in business?

I have personally never met, talked to, or seen anybody even considering a purchase from their facility.
 
Those no eyed turtles are just sad. They should be ashamed to try and pull a premium rate from a defective animal. I was going to say handicapped but I guess defective is a better choice of words. When did defects become a desired trait :ack2: Just disgusting.... Taking your work to use on that site is criminal and downright tacky
 
How old are you, 13. Who cares??? He isn't misrepresenting the animals. He is just using your picture to show what they look like. Just tell him to site that its your picture. I am sure its just a harmless little mistake that will take 2 secs to fix. Don't jump to conclusions and judge people for things like this.

His age is irrelevant because he has just as much right as anyone else to express his opinion here. But if you'd bothered to look, you would have noticed that he is 16.

As far as a "little mistake", the criminal penalties for such actions are outlined in this thread:

But suffice to say, what has happened here is at best plagiarism, at worst, copyright infringement, which is a criminal act.

Showing someone else's picture as your own animal for sale is misrepresentation. I have no idea how you could see otherwise. I also consider marketing deformed animals as a desirable trait misrepresentation. This place is just plain SICK.

If you are referring to me, I am 52. Not sure what my or anyones age has to do with it.

I am not jumping to conclusions. Whats being done is illegal. This is the second time he has done it with pictures from my site. The last time it took 3 months for him to take it off.

I don't know if you were referring to me with that cute 13 year old remark, but this is misrepresentation in its most blatant form.

How you could see otherwise is beyond me.
 
Well

It was bad for him to take your image without giving credit. And a comment about them breeding for defects, its sad to see reptile breeding go down the road of dog and goldfish community were people breed to produce pathetic and in my oppinion gross representations of species. But people buy dogs and goldfish that are defective and spend good money for them so I see were he gets his business from.
 
Awww Jessie is just funnin is all. He hates this site so much he has to know everything thats going on.

Yep, it's a Google ad, not a regular Fauna ad. They pop up somewhat at random.....kind of ironic, huh?
