    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ty, we KNOW you are reading this thread. Why don't you pay up to Michelle like the man you want everyone to see you as, or are you going to show the world that you are just a big cheapskate and those who are owed have to chase you down some more?
 
I don't know exactly what it pertains to, but texas has some sort of law for judgements (certain types of awards maybe), that if not paid within 10 or something, the penalty is $1k per day until paid. that might be for personal injury or damages or something along those lines. not sure if this applies here but might be worth looking into. I would think the lawyer would already know of this if so.
 
Congrats on the win!

A question - did the judge ever push for arbitration/mediation and an out of court settlement? That seems to be standard in my area.

Ha ha, seriously doubt he is going to pay up without a fight. Look how far it went when it was only 3k.

I believe that everyone was hoping for a fair trial, and it appears from all the facts and correspondence we have seen here and elsewhere, in my opinion, that you got one.

I also believe that just about everyone who you may give a damn about what they think is proud of the way you stood your ground and refused to be intimidated by a lawsuit.

Well done.

A few things will likely happen from here. He knew long ago he didn't have a case. His tactic was to stall for as long as possible. He unjustly thought of you as giving him a hard time so he made you jump through hoops to get your money/prize. Tit for tat was probably his thinking. Well you showed him with the extra 10K! However, this tactic will not stop. I am certain he is going to stall you for as long as possible. There are steps you must go through to collect and, he is going to battle it the entire way. However, the great news is he has assets and, you will be able to attach yourself to them. You can seize his car, bank accounts, property etc. One day if he is not careful he will wake up and his bank accounts will be frozen. If he has any brain left he will contact your atty and make a payment arrangement. Congrats and dont stop fighting!
 
I bet he never thought she would bother to get an attorney, travel to FL, and see this thing through. Well, I hope he is well off because that bill is getting pretty high and I imagine the more he drags his feet, the bigger it is going to get. Might want to dump any assets he has pretty fast or it might be a long wait to sell them :p
