    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just got a water monitor from underground reptiles. He/she was packed right with heat and looks great. Just hrs after being in his new setup he has eaten two pinkies and has been chasing crickets down too! I am very pleased with him and look forward to getting two more in the future . Thanks all BRUCE ANGELINI (AKA REPTILEMAN25):)

That's great that they actually came through for you. Unfortunately, not everyone is so lucky. For instance, after reading This Thread, I have to say that that buyer got the shaft from Underground. Not only was she sent a sub-par snake that was likely doomed before they shipped it, but she was subsequently sent an unlabled bottle of some nameless chemical concoction to treat the free mite infestation that came with her purchase. That's right, folks, you have the very real possibility of scoring that little freebie any time you buy from Underground. How good are your chances of winning that particular prize? Well, apparently they're better than you may think. It seems to happen often enough that they actually have an established protocol for mite complaints:
she did believe it may have few mites on it. She told us she was treating it with mite off by zoo med. As is standard practice at our store we immediately offered to send out a free bottle of mite kill and discount her next order with us.

If you have a problem with what you receive from Underground and make the mistake of going public, you may just find them accusing you of "slandering" their good name and telling you something like this:
Mrs. Hollowell,

.....Rather than working with us you, your family and
your friends set out on a campaign to smear our company's reputation. For
these reasons we will not continue to work with you any longer. We wish you
the best.
Even after all of their false assumptions were effectively refuted, they still chose to withhold issuing a refund for the death of an animal which never should have been shipped in the first place. Nothing about that situation seems to be how a Good Guy would go about doing things.

I saw that thread and feel underground was fair. Sounds like the op had the wrong setup and as most know mites do happen. Had the op been treating the mites right then they never should have gotten that bad after weeks of treatment. The life cycle of the mites should have been broken within a couple weeks. And as far as underground not telling what is in there mite spray well cooks don't give there recipe's either. They welcomed anyone to come and see them use it on there own stock. I'm not here to say who's right or wrong just letting everyone know that my monitors happy and safe. Bruce angelini
