    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Weird enough that is true. Go through classifieds and see most adults misspell constantly(more so than I am-- I being a young adult in college).
 
I've posted several times on behalf of UG, I buy from them often. Yesterday I received a shipment of horned lizards from their current ad. As usual, the transaction went perfectly. I've never met them or been to their store, but online I've had nothing but positive experiences.

Just to clarify my concern in this matter... Your son as precocious as you may think he is went beyond a simple concern for clarifyiny an animal concern. What your son did was use the internet to malign a business... That should be a concern for everyone.

If in fact and you are right I cannot say for sure but accept the information provided that the passwords on YOUTUBE were in fact hacked then the intent is a little bit more serious then the care for a chameleon.....



I dont believe your son or the other child involved realized the ramifications when something like occurs and it gets out of hand... Its very comforting to know that your son is enough of an advocate to know what he is maintaining when he makes a purchase of a reptile.... But this has nothing to do with reptiles.

What it has to do with is purposely intimidating a legal busikness through a variety of mediums such as this forum as well as others : with no remorse thinking they are immune form this behaviour and that nothing will come out of it because they are underage....

There is a right way to right what your son may perceive as a wrong. But I think your sons over enthusiasm got the better of him, and with the aid of this other child it mushroomed into a confrontation that required your inception into this.... Your son may be responsible for his own actions but so are you !

Thats what happens when a child decides to take matters in their own hands without realizing that words can come back to haunt them on any open forum such as these areas of interest where thousands of people see the benefits as well as causing a loss of business based on harassment

When a thread is made anywhere, age requirement is not necessary to voice an opinion or a harmful post....... There may very well have been an age requirement even for this site ! Not to mention TOS for Youtube as well as other sites your son and this other person posted....


There is no reason why Underground should have to come here and post the following: So we are being forced to contact forums and other websites as well as take legal actions for these kids behavior. I truly believe that these kids should be taught a lesson and have any their accounts with these reptile forums and youtube suspended and should definitely make some apologies. Negative comments are one thing harassment and hacking is another

Your son and this other person should consider themselves lucky that Rian is more of a forgiving person.

I hope that in the future, discretion is used by your son when entering this type of an arena where post of this nature can cause enough difficulties to escalate into something that neither party want to deal with..

We certainly have seen enough of that with all the children who loose control of there senses!...

Finally, Mr 0319, I never asked you how much you spend for anything, and you are right its none of my buisness. Then why bring it up.

Concern yourself in making sure your own pockets are well guarded for your sons adventures may cause you to dig deep.

You're the one intimidating them. The issue was resolved and you kept going. In all honesty what's the point of the BOI if you can't post a concern? What's the point of freedom of speech then? Why don't we just all become slaves and such so you know we can't "speak" our opinions.


They're kids, and you're acting more childish than they did. You didn't lose anything; nor gained anything.

As I've heard they're pretty good in the business.
 
I received a group of blue-webbed gliding frogs (Rhacophorus reinwardtii) from them last year. All 5 of them arrived healthy and vibrant. Considering how delicate these frogs are, I was impressed. Just my .02 cents.
 
I did business with underground reptiles & was extremely impressed. They were very helpful & professional throughout the entire transaction. I received 2 healthy smooth sided toads from them. The toads arrived packed well & healthy. I was pleased because these are toads only available as wild caught which is always a more fragile chance to take. They arrived healthy & eating well. They asked me to let them know when they arrived to inform them as to my satisfaction (which I did). Now I look for their ads because I would definitely be happy to do business with them again. They are definitely "GOOD GUYS" in my book! Keep up the good work, you are a valuable asset to this site!

Maybe these kids actually did you a favor by starting this BOI nonsense. From what I can see, this has actually proven out to be a good guy BOI thread for you! At least I hope so.

While i have not had any personal experience with UReptile except at a narbc show 2 years ago in Anahiem california. they had a decent selection even though man animals were definately WC imports which they didn't deny, some things probably could have used a good rehab before being sold but when your looking for somethings that you don't see too often they have it.

as far as being able to sex a mellers chameleon it is possible to sex a mellers typically after they deficate they tend to have a hemipeen pop out and retract in afterwards.. so it is not impossible to sex mellers.

as for chameleons being fragile that is true for the most part some more hardy then others.

this thread will not stop me from trying UReptile out at least once before i damn any of their practices.
 
as for hacking a youtube account its fairly easy if you wanted to know the truth and have any knowledge of how network infastructure works, there are methods and ways to do it that i won't discuss in a public forums.
 
Underground may be a little pricy, however they do provide some of the best looking, well taken care of, animals I've seen.
 
Yep...definately good guys. Rian and his staff are absolutely amazing. A good percentage of my animals are from Underground, and everyone is doing very well...I am there every week to buy feeders, and I can honestly say that his staff works harder than any pet store staff members I have ever encountered in my life...

As long as you're willing to make an effort to care for your reptile, they are ALWAYS willing to work with you.

Yes I know they're kids, be glad they did not attempt to flile share on music, then the problem would have been substantially more of an economic loss, YOURS, if it were your child. the music industry does not care who or how old they are when it comes to litigation. Children who have a clear understanding on how to cause problems on line with the intent of creating some form of chaos is not a joking matter .


Its a different world today. Children are now being charged, arrested and made to be set as an erxample. Hacking is no longer an excuse as they're kids ! Nor is it a simple misunderstanding when hacking into someones site, or attempting to create a financial loss for any business.... Your good fortune if it was your child, is that Rian is forgiving. Not so with others who know how to make the parents more responsible for there childrens action.. through there pocketbook . JERRY a year late, but well worth the reply
 
I have bought so much stuff from them from $100 dollars to alittle over a $1000 and I have not had one problem even sent a couple people to there web site and not one had something bad to say to them so ryan it jimmy from long island keep up the awesome work because I keep sending people your way your still top notch in my book
 
He does, however, currently have up two ads on this site with mislabeled animals. And the ads are still mislabeled even after the error has been pointed out by several different individuals AND he responded that he would fix the ads.

My girlfriend purchased 2 jackson's chameleons for me from UGR for christmas, they are both parasite free and thriving really well, for non CB I was surprised how well they adjusted to captivity, I have had them for a little over a month now and am extremely happy with them.
 
Underground Reptiles provided me with great customer service and I would not hesitate to conduct business with them again.
 
they also have videos on youtube. I wouldnt never buy from theses guys. They catch wild snakes and sale them for 100's of dolloars and then i saw the videos of this place and it looks like they dont clean.
