    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Decided to post pictures of what I got from LLLReptile. I bought a baby green anaconda from them. What they sent me was an extremely sluggish and malnourished snake. It is severely under weight. It's skin is so bad that it can literally be pulled an inch or two away from the body. And no it's not in shed, even if it was it wouldn't look THIS bad! The snake barely moves, and never squeezes at all when being held. Also he is covered in cuts and scars, my guess is from unsupervised live feedings. I did my best with these pictures but it was with a crappy cell phone camera. I can take better pictures once I get home, but at this point I have no hope for this poor guy. I don't know what to do. Every phone conversation I've had whenever I called LLLreptile they gave me dumb answers, like make sure I'm using tap water ect. Ect.and me being the non-confrontational person that I am I just didn't do or say what I should have sooner, But things are no problem on my end because the anaconda was like this straight out of the box. I am completely shocked since LLL is such a well known reputable company in the reptile industry. I am beyond upset and I don't know what to do at this point. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks Fangthane but now it won't let me click the upload button, I'm guessing because I'm on here using my phone. I really want to present my evidence but I guess thats going to have to wait... lovely. I'll be taking him to the vet first thing in the morning, even though there is no "exotic" vet in this microscopic small town that I live in. I would really hate to lose this snake, I've already grown so attached to him despite his condition and the short time that I've had him.

I bought him on the 21st so I've only had him for a week now. He was shipped to me from wherever LLL is located so I'm assuming California.

I say assuming California because I threw the box away and didn't pay much attention to it. I still have the paperwork laying around somewhere.

In transit for three days due to bad weather. The paperwork plane couldn't land on the second day because of fog covering the runway.

You're REALLY going to want to start doing unboxing videos and hanging on to packaging. If/when a dispute arises, you'll always be better off for having as much indisputable proof as you can. It's hard to argue with a video that shows a poor specimen coming right out of the box.

Yes he has a very large warm water tub he can swim in whenever he wants. He's been spending most of the time in there. Sorry for the delayed responses. Thank you for helping me to figure this out y'all. I really appreciate it.

The snake was is transit to Alaska for 3 days in bad weather? Have you talked to LLL Reptile and tried to work something out before you start trashing them online? I am sure they will work with you to resolve this. Snakes that get frozen due to flight delays are not really the problem of the shipper. Some of the issues probably are from sending out a snake that was not in great condition to begin with, but why not try to resolve this with them before taking it public.
