Their terms make perfect sense considering they wrote them to prevent any such refund occuring.
It's called take whatever money you can off the buyer (wring him or her dry and then some) and run. Followed by, refuse to answer basic questions, dodge the real hard questions and try to blame it on someone eles or the weather!!
If that don't work, lay low for a while and hope it all blows away and then do it all over again to someone else!

It seems silly to me, but hey, I wouldn't buy from them if they offered me a year to determine the sex! They just cannot be trusted to take of their customers . . .period!

On the other hand, some buyers that read the "fine print" and don't know how to sex themselves will be discouraged to buy. You will have to line a knowledgeable individual right off-the plane in order to sex the snake. What concerns me the most is the condition of some of the animals posted for sale. The boa in the picture was posted this week. In my opinion it needs urgent veterinary care before even posting it up for sale.

That picutre Demonstrates how unscrupulous this company is. It contradicts their health assurance to a tee. They guarantee animals will arrive alive in good health and good condition. I guess they live by their own definitions on what good health and good condition means. I guess if the animal is still breathing it fits this criteria. But hey this is Upstate Exotics. You know this is really starting to piss me off. UPSTATE EXOTICS keep pulling this kind of Garbage with no concerns except their own pocket. Then they do not even have the professionalism to take care of a problem. What kind of people are they? I would say but I would get a warning for it. This company has proven itself to be nothing more than GARBAGE and I hope someone finds a way of telling every customer of theirs before they make a mistake and send this company money. To this day Tony still has not received his refund. SAL & ALISON DO the right thing and stop being just a scumbag about this (and the other problems). Tony you should contact Kingsnake again and let them know they the company has not reseolved the matter and ask them why the company is still being allowed to advertise on kingsnake even after the complaints that have been lodged against them.

Upstate breached that contract when they could not produce the promised paperwork to verify origin of the snake. You are entitled to a refund irregardless of what any of Upstates ever changing policies may be. You are also entiled to compensation for the inexcusable, inordinate amount of time it is taking them to comply. Take them to court and get what is due. At the very least it is a breach of contract case and if found that Upstate has done this purposefully with the intension of keeping your money, then it is fraud.

If this was posted on Kingsnake it would be removed b/c you are posting a site which offers competition to them, against their TOS.
HerpAds.net has been around for a couple of years as a free classified site.....We just purchased the domain. So Now, when everyone reads your newest thread what do you think everyone will do??? They will go to check out herpads.net!! WAY TO GO!!!!
I shouldn't even bother marketing b/c you guys do it for me. Everyone here goes through and nit picks my site, my pictures, etc....which in turn brings me new visitors and hits and in turn, bring me to #20 on FAUNA TOP SITES, which in turn lets people see us on the first page, which IN TURN brings them to our site to see that we are a very good legitimate business (although you may think different), which in turns allows us to satify our customers. ONCE AGAIN THANKS!!!!

It may be that I am competition with you so you want to show you are the "better" guy and say how you would "never" do things like we do. So, keep posting and complaining, keep me on the first page of Fauna.....IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK!!!
