Michael asked me to post this, he was not sure how to do it:
The only thing I covered was the price I pay and my account information.

Doug, Shawn has been signed in and viewing this thread since he started it...he can speak for himself.
Here's a link to the ad: http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=32&de=909709
I kinda get the impression from the ad, that the 3 pictures provided are supposed to represent the 3 different snakes he has listed for sale in that ad. He singles out the top snake as being sold (apparently to the OP here). The top two pics appear to be of the same animal. None of the pics match up to the dead snake.
Are the pictures representations or the real deal
The pictures in the ad are NOT representations. They are the real deal and are pictures of the actual pied males available.

I was wondering that myself. IF they're meant to be the real deal, 2 of the pics are of the same snake. So, if those are the only pics supplied, and all 3 are sold, someone's gonna get a snake that doesn't match up with what they were expecting to get.

There is no pic of pied10 I would say the first to are pied8
Hello,
When he called me this morning telling he the PiedM10 was died, the 1st thing I did was apologize for that and told him that I would take care of it once I receive pictures showing he was died. I offered a Full Refund or re-placement with my last Pied Male (M8) that I have. I stand behind all my animals and I'm always there before and after the purchase. He called me ten plus times and I always answered my phone and spoke to him. He sent me via text msg these pictures that were not focused. He then said that he would get his son to send me pictures because he is better with a camera. He did, I called him back right away; and said that is NOT the piedm10. I said I would go home right away and check the last Pied Male that I have to confirm that I didn't ship wrong snake. I confirmed that I did ship the correct snake and I provided him with pictures of all four Pied males - M8, M9(not in ad sold at local show), M10 and M11 (see Kingsnake ad). I said that is not the snake I shipped you. I also took a current picture of my last Pied M8 in his tube and sent it to him. He then told me that he didnt receive the pictures. I resent each one via text msg one at a time. After that he did not call me back or response.

No matter which is which, there's an unpictured snake somewhere in the mix. Can't vouch for either of these guy or say who's right or wrong...BUT seems like no matter what someone was bound to get a snake that wasn't pictured in the ad...and now there's a dead snake that just happens to not match up with any of them.
This is Shawn's wife. I just want to say for anyone on this board to suggest that there is a "happy" pied in our collection is offensive to our family. Shawn has wanted one of these snakes for the 15 years that we have been together, but we have never had the money to buy him one. He sold off some of his personal things in order to buy this particular snake. He was so happy and ecstatic yesterday that he didn't even sleep. He has been counting down the hours until his new baby arrived. He called me as he was leaving the Fed Ex terminal and I could hear the heartbreak in his voice. I just wish that Mr. Castillo would honor his live shipment guarantee. They can dispute what snake was supposed to come and what snake did come, regardless the snake in that box was dead. If it had been alive and been the wrong one, Shawn would have been bummed, but it was still a pretty snake he would have called Mr. Castillo and discussed this with him but would probably would have said no biggie. He is a very hard
working, honest, easy going man. He is helping our daughter with her
homework at the moment and does not know I am posting on his thread.
