In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Vincent Russello, attempting a scam

david , thanks for the advice. but with bills pileing up I need to sell all of my leos and redfoots. the bill collectors won this round. im just glad i proved to someone that im not out makeing fake photos and scaming people like the starter of this thread would love for everyone to belive

I belive this is just one of many personal attacks brought to me by seamus. in my opinion this thread should be moved to the new hell section and leave the boi to important stuff like the guy with the heatpacks and boas. the only wrong this that i have done was asking for the paypal fee, and that has been corrected

You still haven't removed the super-red photo from your reptibid auction.

In the last photo you posted on this thred, the leopard gecko involved in the auction is on the right, correct? That brown one with the carrot tail that's blatantly NOT the same color as the large picture on your auction?

You either edited the photo (likely based on the discoloration of other objects) or utilized lighting which dramatically changed the color of the animal, then used (and continue to use) the photo to try and represent the animal as being brighter and far more vibrant than it is in reality. The animal is only that flaming orange-red in a single photo, the others all have a nice orange spot and a lot of muddy yellow/brown. Given the 3:1 ratio of "Nice but kind of drab" versus "Amazing never before seen super bright electric red fantastic color!!!" it's pretty obvious that the super-bright photo is NOT ACCURATE which makes your continued use of it, as well as insistance that the animal is properly represented in that photo FRAUD.

he is also breeding right now "drab color" and yes he is brighter in the first photo becuse i had a light bulb on top of him to get a clear photo. sorry your attempts to dis credit me arent working. that is his TRUE COLOR. i guess all the people who left me feeback saying how nice an honest i am are liars as well.

Vince, you have been very good at answering all of our questions.

All of them but one, that is. I want to hear how you feel about the fact that in that first "blurry" photo the background is the same color as the animal. Look at the edges of the photo before you answer. I would love to give you the benefit of the doubt, but until you answer the question of how the background is the same color as the animal, I will have to agree with the title of this thread.

im not to sure what you are refering to, the photo was take ontop of a kittylitter container, yellow with a blue top. the light used when takeing that photo is a yellow house lamp style bulp inside of a reptile heat lamp. that may of casued an effect in the picture bouncing off the flat white paint of the walls. i dont really know. all i have is my word , I am man anough to except that to someone else it may apear to be photo shop or one of the other claims made. but it is what it is. no trick lighting and no touch ups.

Regardless if Seamus has some bias towards Vince, he is 100% correct in this inquiry.

"One of a kind RED leo" I believe the ad states? And then goes on to show the blatantly inaccurate photo with red highlighting most of the objects? Fraudulent.

The second photo I have no doubt is accurate, it is a very nice gecko and looks to be of the same quality as stock commonly seen at chain stores these days.

this leo is nothing like any i have ever seen before. not like what you see at any pet shop. or even what you would see at the best leopard gecko breeders stock room. do you guys understand what a 1.5 mega pixle camra is? this gecko has deep red coloration on his head body and tail. do you not agree that breeding decreses the coloration, i think one of your ad had that claim. he is an outstanding gecko, and i am takeing serious though to retaining him and seeing what i can produce for all the naysayers. this is truely a one of a kind leo.

fresh pic

same light, same camra, same picture location , differnt leo.

Bah, slow connection ate my last reply...

Vince, can you explain why an animal which has three color tones (orange neat the base of the tail, a brownish/yellow/orange across the body and darker brown bands is represented as a two tone animal in a single photograph, where the bright orange color spreads across the rest of the body, from head to tail and the yellowish/orange is entirely obliterated?

The fact that you took the edited photo and used it as the primary representation for the animal (larger pic, combined with the emphasis on red coloration in the description) clearly shows a thought out and deliberate attempt to misrepresent the animal and inflate the price.

i hope its clear to everyone the effect that light bulb had on the photos. It did distort the photos color, not for the better in my belife, but i belive this is proof of me NOT playing around with any photo shop software, the first photo that has been removed and can be seen on page one is a blurry photo with bad light( i feel like i said this 1,000 times, sorry) and also color bleeding. I am not well of anough to buy a 300 dollar camra. so for now ill stick with the good old 49 dollar one i got from wal mart.

Vince,
I just can't believe you would make a statement like the above when it has nothing to do with this thread.

You're in violation of the PayPal TOS and charging would be purchasers an illegal 4% fee and pocketing 1% that alone you should answer.
This post has to do only with you not anyone else.

if you went threw the whole "thread" you would of noticed i took immediate action to correct the paypal mistake. As well as stating that the 4 was a typo. do you read threads before you post or do you just read the first and last page.

Vince, even in the last photo you posted, the shirt of the person standing to the left is red, the newspaper under the litter container is red and there's a loop of BRIGHT red material around the center that looks like it *might* be an outdoor extention cord... which is generally ORANGE.

If you knew that the light causes this effect, making everything look redder than it is... and you chose that area to take the pictures, then selected a picture where the red coloration is the most enhanced to advertise your animal with... you misrepresented the actual color of the animal (yellowey orange according to every photo taken on the bed).

Misrepresentation of a product is fraudulent. People will have problems with this kind of practice, it's abuse of your potential customers and simply morally wrong, no matter how you look at it. You keep refusing to admit that you did anything unethical, which is only prolonging the whole situation. Understand?
