Hypothetical: Well planned for next weekend. By that time, the little fellow should have been able to soak in as much of the red or orange food coloring that you would have been able to get for him. I wonder though, were you able to get any in just the right shade? Being it is Easter weekend, yeah I guess the stores had plenty of variety on hand...
Virtual Reality: I just keep wondering why this has not yet been accomplished. Meeting the person at your doorway would take all of about a minute or two at most with all the necessary formalities and politeness. Bringing the photographer to the animal, from the doorway of your house, would take what, maybe a minute, if you have a normal sized house even less. Admiring the animal another minute. Taking out the camera and setting it up, another minute. Taking about 5 shots in various lighting conditions less than 10 minutes - and that is probably a stretch. Agreeing with the photographer that the picture actually looks close enough to the same color as the lizard to please you - hmm let's say a minute, but I can see how this might drag things out for YOU. Uploading the pic onto the internet so we all can see it, and doing this while the photographer is still there - about 10 minutes (using a dial up modem, less for cable). Saying goodbye about 1 minute. I think that was 27 minutes. Not a lot of time to spare, you certainly have spared much more responding to this thread.
Now you try to get someone from over 2 or 3 hours drive time away to come to take the pics, I thought you had offers for a local to do this. Did I misread that? Why wait? Why the delay? Why put it off? Is it that you don't want the pics to be taken at all (my guess)? Then again, maybe there is another reason, maybe you really are waiting for the food coloring to soak in (my sarcasm).
Happy Easter and Happy Passover (a true wish for a nice holiday).
Back to bed for me.
Sincerely,
Glenn B
