In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I think I remember a band called ...e Nuff z Nuff.....So that means nuff is a word. Back to the subject I didn't feel like reading all 25 pages so I skipped around 23 of them..LOL...I have done several deal with BEN, He is a great person to deal with, but what she needs to understand is Ben is a really busy guy and you just take Ben for Ben. No I have never in my life sold a FROG to anyone! Nor have I sold a Sav to anyone. The few people I do sell to are WHOLESALERS. Unless you are a personal friend of mine I DO NOT sell to the general Public EVER.
Now I am not sure who you are or what your affiliation with Sheila is but I am certain RICH and The Moderators do not appreciate people useing Faunas PM system to Harass the members.

Ben Siegel Reptiles - GOOD PEOPLE
My husband and I have spent plenty of money in dealing with Ben & Stacey and NEVER had the first problem with him or any of his reptiles. Their attitude, as well as that of their employees as ALWAYS been exemplary! They are all well informed and not stingy with information, not to mention being personable--from the first time we did business with them. They didn't know us from Adam. We plan on doing more business with them in the future and recommend them highly to other herpers. Sometimes it comes down to how we are approached, as to what attitude you get back.

I fail to understand how someone can be completely new to fauna, read this thread, ignore everything that nearly everyone has chimed in about how excellant Ben's business is, and make their first post about how great Shiela is. And they also seem to know about the animal's Shiela has (or apparently hasn't) purchased.

LOL ...there seems to have been a plague of these lately...what is up with our school systems? One of my favorites is still "Pied Bald Ball Pythons"...that is a classic.
How do you get "rapped" anyway??? With a ruler? Yikes !
From all I have ever heard, the Siegels are outstanding businesspersons, and the occasional grumpiness is common in animal breeders (as well as artists, as I can attest to personally...) and certainly no grounds for all of this noise !

Cthulu, you're in AZ right? What's wrong with AZ school systems: 49th in the nation in expenditure on education per capita. That counts a lot. Money doesn't make a great teacher, but it sure helps RETAIN them. I could say more, but I won't.
As regards this thread, I've never done business with Ben Seigel (sp?) nor have I been emailed by Sheila or her latest groupie. I think that threads like these stand as a testament to the good guys. When you do all the right things, then regardless of attempts to wreck your reputation, you'll only have a brighter reputation afterwards. People come on here and try to say that if you are "in the clique" you'll be fine, but otherwise you get attacked, but it just isn't so. I don't recall many posts by Ben, but his reputation speaks for him. BAD guys will always show up their true colors, likewise with Good Guys.
I'm very grateful that the BOI exists. Because of this, the main thing I have to worry about is doing my research, and staying on the GOOD side of things. The rest will fall into place.

Not sure if it's been said but I'll go ahead and post it again.....
I've noticed that replies from more established breeders that do a lot of business tend to be more short and to the point, to some this may look like a rude response. In reality they just don't have time to write up a 20 page response to an email. Looking at some of my emails I know I am slowly generating smaller and smaller responses as I get more business, it's only natural when you don't have enough time in the day to address every inquiry with an extended essay. I've corresponded with many of the top breeders and they all tend to keep it to less than 2 sentances, that's just the way it is. Maybe this is the reason he came across as rude?
Although this guy has proven to be a troll in other threads he does make a valid point:

Ben Siegel and Crew are Top Notch
We have dealt with Ben many many times both as a seller and a buyer. We have never had any kind of rudeness or any type of bad dealings with him. Period! He always takes time to talk to us when we call or go by. He is very imformative and knows his stuff. I personally don't see him being rude to a customer. For anyone looking to deal with Ben I can say with full confidence that you will be treated fairly.
