I think we all agree for Dave to pursue every avenue with no delay. If Tim is sincere, then the first checks will be showing up before any action produces results except the PayPal dispute (my plan exactly, BTW). If a check shows up, take it to the bank David, and give it the full two weeks to truly clear ! Had me worried Neil, but then I remembered

In addition to filing the dispute with paypal, you should let them know he is also violating their TOS in regard to the fee add on. I don't know how agressive they are when it comes to that kind of stuff, but maybe they will yank his account, especially if you have any e-mails where he is specifically asking you to pay for the fee. In some states it is actually illegal to do that, so it might even be a nice tidbit for any actual police filings.

Well, lots of replies some good some right to the point but all I have to say is I'm sorry for making the mistake of spending the money before sending the snake something I regret. I'm also assumed at this whole ordeal. I sent David the snake as collateral and will be make the right steps and payments to clear this matter. I'm sorry for all the BS. Tim Gomez

Well,I had to post here so everyone knows what a fricken loser Tim Gomez is!
Dave,you are not the only one this scam artist has tried to scam!
A few weeks back Tim and I agreed to do a trade.We agrred on a supposed 5ft albino female he had for some babies I had(albino het snows and a dh snow).So no problem right? WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I set up a time to ship mine first(of course) for a Mon.He tells me his wife is about to have a baby so he will call me if he won't be there to recieve the shipment on Tues. Well, no call so I ship($4000 worth of snakes).I check the tracking and they are signed and recieved by a Rothernberg at 9.30 AM.
Well I try Tim all day,finally get ahold of him at 9.30 at night and he says he did not recieve them,forgot to call me because he was at the hospital with his wife giving birth.So he asked me If I got a signature(I'm sure he was hoping I was dumb enough not too)And I tell him Rothernberg(Why does this name ring a bell with me? I'll explain further in the story).He says finally after himhawing around that he thinks its a neighbor.So I call him back and he says it is a little old lady neighbor and her apartment is empty,no snakes.So I threaten to call Fed-Ex(as I know now that this is a bad attempt at a scam)to find out what apartment the snakes were dilivered to and what the person looked like.Well low and behold I get a call back 5 MINUTES later with Tim saying the old lady's son recieved the snakes,took them with him all day because the old lady has cats and he just met him in the hall and got the snakes(coincidence,I THINK NOT!,It get's better).So no problem he got the snakes,you would think no problem! Tim asks if he can ship the female albino to me Thurs.instead of Wed.(as we agreed he would ship the following day after recieving the babies).Well the nice guy that I am I said ok.
Thurs. rolls around and I try and contact him all day as I did not recieve a call with a tracking #.I finally get ahold of him Thurs. evening and he says Fed-Ex can not gaurantee shipment for the next day! That same evening someone shipped out a snake,of which I recieved Fri.
So red flags big-time!
I did not want to wait as the 4th of July weekend was coming and he would not be able to ship until that next Tues.So I question him etc...........
We hang up and I'm fuming mad because I know this guy is full of CRAP!!!!!! Can I say it again,TIM, YOU ARE FULL OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I'm still pissed and would love to say hello face to face.
Anyway,back to the story,
so we hang up,and for some reason that Rothernberg name on the Fed-Ex reciept keeps ringing a bell? So then It hits me!!!!!! I go back and search my emails and find one from a Pearl Rothernberg with a pic of the 5ft albino female that Tim is supposed to ship me,only problem is it is not from Tim's email address.
So I call Tim back and confront him with this new revelation and he stutters etc..... can't explain it etc........
So after telling him I will go through every means possible to get my boas back because I know he is a scam artist and a bad one at that! He say's he won't do business with me beacuse I threatened him, and in order to get my boas back I have to pay the shipping back,I ask why he just doesn;t mail the boa I was promised(5ft female albino) and he say's I just don't wanna do business with you.So I agree to pay the shipping(waste of $100 but the only way to get them back).Well I check my email and there is an email from Tim wondering if he can keep the dh snow baby and make payments to me! CAN YOU FRICKEN BELIEVE THAT CRAP!!!!!!!!!!
So I email him back and said,thought you weren't going to do business with me? Why don't you just mail the albino female we agreed on? I even paypaled him the shipping money to ship mine back which I agreed he could use to ship the supposed albino female. As I came through with my trade agreement and shipped when I was suposed to etc.......................................
Needless to say,he would not ship the albino adult and I told him there was no way he could keep the dh snow baby etc...........
So I finally got my babies back after wasted money,and a ruined Holiday weekend with ton's of headache over this trade and Tim Gomez(if that's his real name).I was willing to go through whatever means possible to get my snakes back whether I had to fly to New York myself, get a private investigator send relatives over to his house(as I have some in New York etc.....)and Tim knew it,so I guess that's why he sent them back(as I also had proof in our emails.
Just had to post to warn everyone to BEWARE!
I'm not going to reply to this post again etc.............(I've had enough headache over this and wasted time) but I do have corresponding emails with Tim.

Also Dave do not belive a word Tim say's.I am an honest breeder/dealer as people on this sight can attest.Hell I sent him ($4000 worth of babies first in a trade how honest/trusting is that? Maybe too honest/DUMB!)

This guy lives/lived in NY as far as I know,a few weeks ago?That is where I shipped the boas,and also where his phone # came up as I did a search on his #.So If you need the address in NY where I shipped,let me know.

I actually was going to post a few weeks ago on this guy before this post was started,but I didn't want to start a pissing match etc........... And frankly I was just happy to get my boas back and be done for good with this guy.
But today I saw the post with his name and had to say something.
Just waiting to hear the BS response Tim Gomez/Rothernberg or whoever he is posts!
