In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Warning I got Ripped off for Xmas by Mckyle

If he is only 15 it is probably more likely that he's a bad business than a scam artist. Either way a good talking to his parents would probably resolve the situation either way.

Adam Pearce

Not necessarily. Quite a few teenagers start scamming at that age, especially because they think there are no consequences, whether because they think they're too young to be prosecuted, or don't realize they can get caught. Kyle obviously is smart enough to post morphs for sale, I find it hard to believe he "doesn't remember" the OP when he calls, or knows who paid for those snakes. Hope all's well that ends well for the OP.

The name on the paypal is Jeffrey Mcdan...maybe a parent?

Then I'd suggest sending a polite email to the paypal email address, explaining the situation, and requesting a refund. There are other options, but that would be my first step.

I won't give out his adress but he lives in Spartanburg South Carolina.

The reason I requested this info is to make sure we are talking about the same person.

The Kyle McDaniel I sold to is not in the same town as you posted.

Please post your info on him such as email and a mailing address so there is no confusion.

Maybe that info should be said privately...?

No, the Op is claiming he has been scammed by this person so all info should be posted for all to see so no one else falls victim to this scammer if he is indeed one. at this point I DO NOT see Kyle as a scammer until something solid is posted by the OP.

So this persons home address should be revealed for everyone to see?

I don't see him as a scammer yet as well and I doubt he would want his home address revealed to everyone at this point...

I think it's best to be kept between the people being "scammed" if you just want confirmation on if you're talking about the same person or not...

I see your point Nichole, not posting his address until there is solid evidence against him is better.

The Kyle I am speaking of that scammed me out of $650.00 screen name on Fauna is McKyle, are there two? Im sorry for the confusion but I'm not posting personal information of his unless I am PM'd and you are also in the middle of a transaction with him. I have saved all PM from him and have already called my credit card company and disputed through paypal, I'm not worried about my money. I posted on here to let you all know to beware and if there is anything that Fauna would like to do then you can also PM me and I will send you all the PM's and emails we wrote back and forth. If you don't believe me, I don't care, I was the one out $650.00 and was just trying to inform others to beware of this seller and his lies because its a hassle to get your money back sometimes. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask me directly! Thanks!

Well, you're covered IF the person leaves the money accessible. If the money is pulled from the account, PayPal won't do squat for you; at least with a credit card, you can do a chargeback.

A question for the people that have made, OR RECEIVED, payments from Kyle - what is the name on the PayPal account? According to the information he provided when he registered, he's only 15. Maybe his parents should be made aware of his activities...especially if he is conducting fraud using their account.

Thank you hhmoore for doing a little bit of research I have started my dispute through paypal, and have no fear of not getting my money back but I hope this gets settled for the sake of others as well!! Thanks kindly, Im still new to fauna and getting use to all of this. If you need anything from me i.e. PM's, emails, information he gave, I will gladly send it to you!! Thanks for your concern in this situation!!

Good point. Might be a smooth transaction for Ed if Kyle is spending other people's money he scammed them out of. lol

Does the OP know of this thread? Does he have anything to say about it?

I have tried to email and PM him numerous times telling him that I will be blasting him if he does not contact me and send me my snakes, but I have not heard a response from him. I am really upset with this due to the fact I really wanted those snakes, yet I feel very stupid for falling into this.

To the OP: Do you have any copies of emails, PMs, paypal transaction, etc. to provide as proof? It's not that I don't believe you. But since some people have had positive experiences and someone else is in the middle of a transaction, posting proof would definitely help in the decision making process. Also I don't like to label anyone as a scam artist until I see some hard evidence.

Yes I have proof of all my emails and transaction records that I sent to dispute my charges. It has come to light that the positive experience Ed Clark is referring to is not the same Kyle. They can decide for themselves if they recieve their reptiles if its true or not, Im just giving my story and experience with this reptile seller. I have already talked to Nichole and if she wants my emails to and from him she can PM and see them other than that I just was putting out a warning, you don't have to believe me if you don't want. I just had an awful experience a week and a half before christmas :(

Oh and the paypal was jeffrey McDan
and the email that was used was
[email protected]
I have already started my dispute on PayPal, and sent an email to him through paypal asking him to contact me. What is odd is he said his name is kyle, on the PM he sent me with his info it said Johnathon Kyle McDaniel, and the paypal account says Jeffrey Mcdaniel...so I guess I should have noticed something was up with all the different names. And when I called his phone the VM box said Kyle Mcdaniel. All I know is he will not contact me and I have no snakes. :(

I'm not saying that they are in fact 2 different people. what I said is the city that you posted is not the same as I have.

If you post an intact email with header we can try to determine whats going on.

Im new to fauna I don't know how to post an email header intact. I have sent info to Harold that he has requested Im sure if you ask him for info he will let you know. I know that his screen name is McKyle on here. Thats it and that I have two other people telling me the same info he gave me and that they have not recieved their reptiles as well.

Well that stinks for me, my transaction definately did not go as smooth as silk.

Your Transaction probably didn't go "Smooth as silk" because Ed sold to Kyle, not bought from him. :)

That being said - McKyle, Where are you, and what do you have to say about this, hm?

McKyle hasn't logged onto the site since this thread was posted.
This has been asked several times without response - has he been made aware of this thread?
