• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Warning I got Ripped off for Xmas by Mckyle

It's good to see someone come forward and admit to their mistakes unlike most of the people on here. Hopefully all the issues get resolved satisfactorily.

Yes...and for us people worried about where are money has gone, it's a breath of fresh air. But until things are really resolved for good, I won't be able to rest knowing that my money is in the wrong hands.

So we're getting refunded? Are you posting snakes that aren't yours or are you going to actually ship the reptiles that you had in your ad?

Please file a paypal dispute. I realize that it may take a while, but I don't have access to the email I was using nor the paypal account any longer.

Is the money still in the paypal account? If not, I didn't pay with a credit card so I can't be reimbursed. That money needs to be in your account for me to get a refund.

WHy can't you use the paypal account? And is the paypal I sent the money to YOUR account or a PARENTS account? If I can't be reimbursed because you withdrew the money then I will be taking legal action.

Fair warning. This transaction has upset me and my boyfriend very much. We just started our breeding collection just to find half of our snakes purchased was part of a scam.

McKyle,

Assuming what Nichole said is true about the funds not being eligible for reimbursement if they are not in the paypal account AND you don't have access to it, then how do you expect us to get refunded through paypal?

In other words, filing a dispute will NOT get us a refund :NoNo:

You either need to reimburse everyone out of your own pocket using the money you have from us

OR

you need to ship us the animals we purchased exactly how they were described when we bought them.

Which is it gonna be?

From what I gather, it seems to me that McKyle was using his parents' PayPal account without their knowledge. The phone number, perhaps, was the parents' number, and when they started getting multiple calls from people they have no clue about, they were probably tipped off that their son was doing something he shouldn't've been.

Note: This is just the way I see it from what I've read.

It was not an account affiliated with me in anyway.

Exactly. Very well put, Tristan.

And Mckyle, please do NOT ignore us this time. Trust me, the last thing you'll want is a lawsuit against you and bad reputation.

Good and bad reputation spreads quickly.

Oops, forgot to add: So his parents figured out what was going on and either changed the password for the PayPal account, or they did something else to keep him from using it.

End of hypothesis. Sorry for the double post.

This, as a matter of fact, is not true at all - except for the part about my username being mckyle ;)

You still have to accept the refund through the paypal email that you used.

Do you have access to the email account or was that part about not being able to access it lie?

No - I don't have access to the email nor the paypal account. Neitherv were mine to begin with. They were both illegitimately gained.

Well, Mckyle. I just tried to make a dispute and this is the message paypal said:

End Communication and Escalate to a Claim

Your seller is currently unable to respond to this dispute. By escalating your dispute to a claim, you are asking PayPal to review the case and decide the outcome.

PayPal will review the transaction details and may contact you for additional information. We will make every effort to resolve this claim within 30 days.

PayPal will review your communication with the seller and may contact you for additional information. We'll make every effort to reach a decision within 30 days.

If this claim is decided in your favor, PayPal will make every effort to recover funds from the seller. We will investigate this matter fairly and, if you win, recover whatever funds we can.

I'd really rather not wait 30 days to get my money back. Christmas is coming and, honestly, you've pretty much screwed up everything for a few very unsuspected people.

The money for every transaction is still in the account.

If it wasn't affiliated with you in any way, then why would you tell us to deposit the money in that account?

Explain yourself.

If the money is still in the account (that you're obviously affiliated with), then send the funds back to each and every person.

I don't care if your parents or anyone else is keeping you away from the account, you have to do everything in your power for them to send the funds back. Tell them that if they don't, then things WILL get worse for you and the paypal account holder.

I expect this to get fixed, otherwise I will take legal action also. I have verified the phone number and address I have to be consistent with what you have asked sellers to ship to. There is no way to escape this unless you refund our money or give us the animals.

If you don't, it will all be downhill for you and whoever that paypal account is linked to.

Yes, you will have to escalate to a claim. This is the only option available right now.

It will, more than likely, not take the full 30 days. I believe paypal gives me 7 days to respond. Since that won't be happening (because it can't), it will be expedited.

I should have explained myself better.

The paypal account is not affiliated with me in that I have no rightful ownership to it. It does not belong to me, anyone in my family, nor anyone I have ever met at all. It was a "cracked" account (not sure if any of you are familar with the term), that I was using.
