I'm sorry Ed, but I simply must take issue with the fact that you BLATANTLY hit someone with warning points (a person with whom you have been having a personal problem) in an obviously RETROACTIVE manner. I just don't feel that this is fair or even handed; it looks more like "getting even."

Clay, Wes, seems that some are taking my stated personal feeling as some kind of rule for UN troops, Mods whatever ya want to call them.. Now I don't know if they have made it a rule since I was a UN troop because I can no longer see the Mod Forum, I'm a forum Mod on the outs lol. But a while back when asked why I didn't warn someone in a thread I was actively involved in I said that I, me, myself, didn't think it was fair for me to warn someone under those circumstances.. Just thought I'd mention it since some seem to think it's some kind of rule.... Randy

Sorry, but that mod forum access got pulled when your complimentary Benefactor membership expired. Since that forum is tied to that membership the program wasn't smart enough to recognize that I had previously set up your access to that forum manually. Same thing happened to the other forum mods, so I restored access to all of you.

Sorry about that. This program has a pretty tough time keeping up with all of the things I ask of it...........

Ed, at some point in time you have to ask yourself some rather simple and one would like to believe, common sense questions. Let me help you:

1) Last year you called me a whore for selling my sunglows at a price I thought was fair. You stated that I was hurting your business. So, here's the question for you. Do you honestly believe your actions on this board is helping your business?

2) If people keep telling you that you are in the wrong, at what point should you listen to it?

3) If you have gone through life with people pointing out your failures and poor judgement, do you really think that acting upon those failures on this board is in your best interest?

4) Last but not least, Ed, in the business world it's all about building one's reputation. Are your actions here really helping that?

Ed, with all due respect, you've shown yourself completely incapable of making rational and intelligent decisions with regards to the "power" you weld. Your inability to make these decisions is drastically starting to hurt your reputation, regardless of how nice your animals are. You are quickly building a list of people who will not only NOT do business with you but also a list of people who WILL advise others not to do business with you. Since you rely 100% upon the sales of your snakes for income (per your email to me), then is it really wise to take part in such an activity that you obviously do not have the ability to handle?

Just some food for thought Ed. Quite frankly, I don't care if your business goes down the ole' crapper. It's completely irrelevant to me but thought I would at least point out the above facts so that you can have your "Paul Harvey" moment of the day.

Wow...not keep up with this forum for just a few days and my, my, my forum mega-drama erupts.

Not to bore you with my personal drama, but I want to put this in perspective. A week ago Friday (Friday the 13th as "luck" would have it) I broke my foot while exercising. I went to the doctor that afternoon and he confirmed with an X-Ray what I already knew since I had heard it snap (and felt it). I was advised to stay off of it for the weekend and given an appointment with the orthopedist on that following Monday morning at 8:30. Sadly, it turned out to be a more complex fracture than I had realized. I thought it would be a few weeks in a boot with partial weight bearing, etc. Instead, because of the angle of the fracture line and the fact that it extended to and through the joint surface I need 6-8 weeks of immobilization, most of that in a cast, non-weight bearing, on crutches. Even then there are substantial odds that it may not heal and that it would require surgery with placement of a screw and a bone graft followed by another 6-8 weeks of healing.

My buddy was driving me home from the doctor's office after that and I was feeling awfully sorry for myself. Then the news came on the radio about Virginia Tech. That was the day of the shooting there, April 16th. I live in Virginia and Tech is a state school. Two 20 year old girls from my area were killed in Norris Hall, and one young man from my city was critically wounded (he is now expected to make a complete recovery). My 20 year old son is a college engineering student who got into Tech and decided (much to his father's chagrin at the time) to go elsewhere.

My foot is a realtively small annoyance now. Not that it doesn't still hurt. It does. This bickering is relatively petty stuff when one looks at the big picture. There are 32 dead at the hands of the Tech shooter. This is an Internet forum. I'm as guilty as anyone here of getting way too wrapped up in it at times. I'm not saying that things will never get personal. Just count to 100 before hitting "Submit Reply" when it's something questionable.
