    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Shipping hot snakes USPS is even dumber than having shadiguy as a screen name when you post items for sale.

I can't believe you are trying to explain away your reckless disregard for peoples safety by saying "hey, I'm new at shipping snakes". What a crock.
 
im not trying to defend it i used bad judgment .. and simply point out that i did rather than make up lies to try ad cover it.
 
True. At least you admitted it was wrong and aren't trying to deny it. Please, please, do not ship hots unless you use Delta or another carrier. Too many things could go seriously wrong.
 
Although I will not condone Espedito's actions, he does at least SEEM like he's admitting to making a huge screw-up and also seems like he is trying to do things right from now on.  
However, my view still stands that you needlessly and wrecklessly put peoples' lives at risk.  That will always be on your head and in the minds of those who visit this site that might consider doing business with you.  

Also, Espedito sent a scanned copy of the "paperwork" from Kevin about the supposed venomoid Canebrake.  I told him I would post it here for him.  I have not altered it in any way.  Hopefully it will appear here alright.  It is difficult to read as the scan quality is not great, but if enlarged enough it is readable.  This is not exactly what I would call the proper paperwork for a venomoid rattlesnake.  It is not even on a vet's letterhead NOR is there even a signature.  Honestly, this looks like something that ANYONE could have whipped up in 5 minutes using Word.  There is no way in hell I would risk my life based on this.

But my thoughts were exactly the same upon viewing that paperwork.  Also, one more thing that bugged me...
Kevin has never said(to MY recollection anyhow) that a VET even did the surgery.  He just kept referring to "the guy that did the operation" not to a vet.  I know that is probably a moot point now since this "paperwork" pretty much tells the TRUE status of the "venomoid" in question.  HOT HOT HOT!!!
But if you're animal got surgery at a vet clinic, you should be able to call them directly and have receipts/papers/whatever pulled from their files, copied, and sent right to you.  OR, if you were THAT concerned about it, you should be able to go right back to their office, no?  
How about THIS... can you provide the name of the doctor and vet practice that performed the devenomization(real word?) operation to the board here?

Exactly what I was thinking. A vet should have done the procedure and not some hack who doesn't know what they are doing.

It just appears to me (from how this transaction went) that this is in fact a rattler that is still hot.

Only a scumbag wanting to make as much money as possible would sell a venemoid to someone when it was really still a hot snake.

That is just wrong, wrong, wrong, and potentially fatal to the poor sap that thinks the snake had the procedure.

One thing that struck me as curious though. Kevin posted that BOTH the glands and ducts were removed. Is the head deformed on this canebrake? Usually only the ducts are removed on various types of vipers because by removing the glands, you alter the shape of the snakes head. This doesn't happen with elapids but it does with most viper species. IF the glands were removed, then there would be silicone implants need to be inserted to re-shape the head.

What's the story here? Was it a ductectomy only? Were implants inserted? Were the glands removed? Is the head mishapen?

It all sounds to me like the snake was and is still capable of delivering a bite that would cause envenomation.

Disgusting.

You still have not answered some important questions.
1.  Your deal with Jason Lemay.  Are you gonna honor it or what?  Your sh!t died.  You sent him crappy snakes.

2.  Your het for albino viridis.  First you say they are hets and are proven.  Then when people ask you for paperwork and start asking you questions....they all of a sudden became only 66%.  Well what are they?

3.  those puffs you are advertising as tanzanian.  Are they tanzanian or are they just normal?  Because everyone is saying they are just plain puffs and not tanzanian.

4.  why do you avoid the questions about yourself and only answer questions that involve other people?

Nice try diverting everyone's attention from yourself -- it is called a red herring.  But answer the questions asked of you instead of poingting everywhere else.

2:Jason Lemay I never said i wouldnt replace the snakes i told him send the dead snakes back to me an i would send him his snakes or Replacements. He chose not to. Would u send someone another trio of snakes without recieving the "SNAKES THAT DIED" Back in return. i think not.

Okay, This is enough of this crap.  I am also not very happy with the paperwork, I am in total agreement with shady on this one.  I openly admit that that is CR@P as far as paperwork goes.  I am not saying that the snake is hot, because it IS A VENOMOID, but I DO NOT CONDONE THE PAPERWORK.  I stated previously that I did not wish to fill out the paperwork because I did not do the surgery.  I had the person that did the surgery fill out paperwork and send it to Shady.   I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE PAPERWORK LOOKED LIKE AND HAVE NO IDEA WHY THE PAPERWORK HAS MY ADDRESS ON IT,  IT WAS NOT FILLED OUT BY ME, I NEVER SAW IT UNTIL THE SCANNED COPY WAS POSTED HERE.  IT WAS SENT FROM WHEREVER THE PERSON DID THE SURGERY SENT IT FROM.   I AM NOT GOING TO TAKE THE BLAIM ON THIS ONE.  I WOULD ALSO EXPECT THERE TO BE A SIGNATURE ON THE PAPERWORK.  I AM LEAVING THE PERSON'S NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS BELOW THAT DID THE SURGERY.  IF THERE IS ANY CONFLICT,QUESTIONS, OR COMPLAINTS, PLEASE CONTACT HIM.  The only thing I am in totall disagreement with Shady about is the fact that he is calling the snake hot and refuses to milk it to see for sure?!?!?! If anyone has any complaints or problems, contact he surgeon.  I hope all can see some of where I am coming from.  For more information contact Jay at Exotic jungle, he also get some venomoids from Eddie.  BUT REALIZE THAT I AM IN NO WAY CONDONE THE WAY THAT SHADY SHIPPED, HOW HE MISREPRESENTED ANIMALS, OR HOW HE HAS LIED OR REFUSED TO ANSWER SEVERAL QUESTIONS.  I know that the canebrake matter is partly my fault for not having the paperwork with the snake, but I am in no way responsible for the surgery or any complications there of.

tried contacting him long ago no response and whos to say that is who it claims to be i can make up a million emaill address also. that doesn't tell me anything nor does him saying he did a snake for you because how does that prove that the snake you sent me is the one he did for you? The paperwork does not prove any vet records Etc.  i dunno  i think i pretty much have proven my point on this one. and as far as jason goes im sorry you felt you had to post this on here. i very well offered you the chance to return the "DEAD SNAKES" for Replacement or your snakes back and you chose not to send them . that is on your part your fault.. so i guess nayone that should say they recieved dead snakes should just automatically ship someone more snakes? ASk yourself that question. I dont think anyone would send replacements off of pictures.
 
I have had no other canebrakes except for that one.  I have sold ALOT of venomoids for ALOT more money than I got from you and I have had absolutely no complaints that weren't taken care of promptly.  I HAVE NEVER SENT OUT A HOT SNAKE AND CLAIMED IT TO BE VENOMOID.  SOMEONE'S LIFE IS PRICELESS, AND I SURE AS HELL WOULD TRADE IT FOR SOME CR@PPY LITTLE PUFF ADDERS. NOT FOR YOU OR ANYONE ELSE NO MATTER HOW MUCH MONEY THEY HAD OR WHAT THEY WANTED! im sorry but thats just how i see things as being, you can crucify me for my ways but its just the way i am i would have had no problem as i said before in replacing the snakes if he would have returned my "Dead Snakes" ad i told him that from te get go when he told me about it. i never dodged emails etc etc.

Kevin  you claim that guy did the surgery can you provide paperwork fro a vet i dont think you can because the snake is hot.Imnot trying to bash on you just trying to state the facts man maybe you got burned when you got it i dont know but i know for sure that snake is Still Hot. nothing more to say i would get the snakes surgerys done by somone else. because if thats the kinf of paper work he does you can see the results a still hot snake.
