There is a very common public perception in the industry that the BOI and fauna as a whole is a playground for a small group of people that get preferential treatment over everyone else and people do not want to come on here to post there transaction or information because they fear they will get bashed and teamed up on by the group of regulars on this site that have a long history of this behavior.

While this entire post is off topic and continues to veer off topic in a few places; IMO the BOI should be a place to post carefully. You should be wary of posting anything that can be picked apart, because it will be. The BOI isn't made up of a few priveleged people, it's made up of everyone here. I pay as much attention to a non contributor's post as I do to a contributor's because the donation doesn't make truth, truth does.

And, if you think fauna is so full of crap, there a red X in the upper right hand corner of this window, hit that puppy.

Evan, thank you for informing me of the existence of such legislation, and Dennis, thanks for the links (and thanks to Troi Lilly, who also provided me with information). I had no idea this was going on (go figure, since I've never paid much attention to anything besides the classifieds before last week ). Despite all the sophomoric ranting in this thread (ahem, DD and Gecko Dude) I've come away informed of important issues. Who'd've thunk it?

Thanks again for the links and info; I'll be researching this later today (after I drag myself out of bed - I cannot BELIEVE I'm still awake, much less coherent - though I suppose that's a matter of opinion!). I'm eager to learn what I can about this. I'm a native Washingtonian with a bit of lobbying under my belt and this strikes me as a cause worth taking up.

Hmm, I've been a non-contributing member for years now, and have never felt like the contributors are treated better. Sure, sometimes when I'm reading the BOI I disagree with the way "the pack" handles things, but it seems like 98% of the time, the pack ends up being right. Of course I'm just one person, but that is how I perceive things. I think Fauna is just as fair and balanced as any forum I've been a part of. Which is exactly why I'm still here. If I don't like a site, well, I take a hike. This is just my humble opinion, though.

2 things. 1) I have seen people who choose to not use this site bashed by the dog pack on the boi and they never posted on the thread because they will not come to this site. So how many people just decided they were guilty of the accusations against them because the usual hand full of people labeled them as something. Have they done business with them? Do they have first hand knowledge of the transaction? Are they involved. NO. and this site allows them to come to any thread and attack anyone and because it a slanted and unfair place, people do not want to have anything to do with it.

2) if you subscribe to the "if you don't like it get out" theory, then stop pretending to be fair, unbiased and a level playing field. As that is the exact thing that nazis have been saying about blacks, jews and arabs in this country for decades. That is the same thing that right wing retards spout about anyone who disagrees with government. It is a lame, lazy, weak retort so that instead of self examination and improvement you can just dump on others.

And Rich can keep reading this and hiding, sending me nasty private messages because I chose to describe one of his slappies 100% bold faced lies about me as "s***" in my prior post but he is too apathetic to post here. Wow, such a grown up bunch of big adults but you take the time out of your busy day Rich to scold me for using a word?

Another thing people keep making a bad comparrison on, fauna to kingsnake. Non members here can not even view pictures in classifieds or names/business names on classifieds. With kingsnake anyone in the world can view your adds and buy from you/contact you. What a huge difference that is. Here you have to be forced to sign up as a member to access many of the sites features so the membership # is bloated with people who do not post here but only look at the ads.

Evan, you never had a problem here before your bad guy thread a couple years ago and then decide to pull out. You stated the site was on its way out back in 06.
I said to you then why do you feel the need to burn down the bridges? It just doesn't make any sense because some desagreed with you on that thread. You agreed. It makes no sense here is well. I take on a subject that I know will be unpopular because I know most people will side with the site regardless of what the issue. So in a few minutes Rich and Dennis have abused their own rules and piled so much crap on my account that they deleted years of positive karma and are trying to dump enough warnings to suspend me. Typical. Hide behind the site cowards. Dennis you are really a fair and great moderator to pile a whole page of violations on me for something I did not do. And Rich sent me a nice little insulting note with my warning that you lied and said does not exist. This is how you guys play. Too bad though that you fail to realize I am not somebody that you are going to hrut with this bs act you play. I do not use your site any longer. I do not pay to advertise on your site any longer. It is great that you guys have your little power trips. Just do not forgot it does not extend to the real world. Off this website you are still moderators and controllers of nothing.

Now I know positively that you are uh, gray matter challenged, Evan. I never sent those karma messages to you at all. My guess is that you are just mistaking what you see in the karma system and decided to blame them on me.

If the two members who DID send those karma comments wouldn't mind, I would like to post that evidence just to prove just how far off the wall this guy really is. You both know who you are, so please let me know if you wouldn't mind me clearing the stench in the air that Evan left here.

As for Evan Stahl, as is pretty obvious from his postings, his general method in dealing with things appears to be "Ready, Fire, Aim", as this pretty much displays.
