OK, I had to leave for work right after I posted this thread. So now I'll post the entire email to show I'm not making this up at all. So I know most will take WebSlave's side but I thought it to be quite rude. It could have left at "no I can't do that because I wasn't the one that purchased the geckos" not a smart reply in which I recieved. Scroll down to bottom and start reading upwards. Sounds good to me....

Hey guys I don't like to bash people BUT. Anyway, I bought a couple geckos from a guy on this forum. So I was going to leave a positive trader rating, but wasn't able to. I sent an email to to ask why I wasn't able to. I was then told I had to be a paying member. Well that is all good so I asked webslave if there was anyway that positive trader rating could be sent to the guy I bought the geckos from. Well then I recieved a smart ass email for no good reason. I wasn't not once replying with a bad attitude until I got bad attitude. If anyone dosen't believe this shoot me an email and I'll forward it to you to show what an ASSHOLE this guy is. I understand that non-paying members can't leave trader ratings no need to be a asshole.

So the word Sorry in "Sorry, but no, I can't do that." wasn't a courtesy word? Asking you do understand why he couldn't do it wasn't right? Just to much ask?

Look how you are flying off the handle now to some easy statements. How about a little courtesy for those that simple disagree the simple statement was not rude?

OMG...YOU and ADAM are the ONLY ones that took it as being rude! When everyone else disagrees with your opinion, don't you think there's a possibility that YOU are the one with the problem? How many times did your Mama smack you because you wouldn't take "NO" for an answer the first time you were told?
Rich POLITELY explained to you the reason he couldn't do it, but you couldn't drop it. YOU STILL CAN'T SEEM TO DROP IT even though you are a tad bit behind the goings-on in this thread...

He already explained how it worked. You asked for him to make an exception for you. Do you not get how that is rude? Do you not understand that your sense of entitlement and plea to have him bend the rules for you was ridiculous, unprofessional and inappropriate?

Dude could have made a positive BOI thread if he wanted to leave good feedback for the seller.

Sure, sometimes when I'm reading the BOI I disagree with the way "the pack" handles things, but it seems like 98% of the time, the pack ends up being right.

Ok.. first off, people will side with the nicer, more trsutworthy, and fair person. In this case, it is the site.
Second... from what I've seen, rich will give you all the cookies you want, just don't stick your hand in the cookie jar. What I mean by this is Rich gives people the benefit of a doubt as well as multiple second chances, but it is just not smart, no matter what site you are on, to attack the moderators.

It appears to me that this thread was started out of someone taking a comment the wrong way, getting pissed, and leading into the few people who have a personal vendetta against the mods and this site using the opportunity to attack them.

Really, to the original OP, you could/should have just posted a good guy thread or supported the site you met the seller you had such a good transaction with and become a paid member to leave the rating... and stop the name calling and stuff, it's just childish. To the seller, you have succeeded in maing yourself look bad. To Rich, I feel so bad for you that you have to deal with this kind of crap so often. To the other mods, great job and please keep it up.

Personally, I find nothing offensive, about that line, and ....
No, it doesn't take much thought to realize why Rich could not (or would not want to) post this other person's positive trader feedback/rating:
#1 It would be breaking a rule (why would this person deserve a breaking, of a rule, over anyone else .. or despite others who do follow the rules/guidelines and even pay $).
#2 Rich does not know this person.
#3 It was not Rich's transaction and, even so, Rich had no, actual, first hand knowledge (he was not involved).
#4 It would almost seem an endorsement, from Rich (or Fauna), if he were to post it (why would Rich want to place himself in that position <rhetorical ?> ... especially considering reasons #2 & #3).

After being told that "only paid members can utilize the trader ratings feedback", Double D should have just left it, at that, because it was pretty straight forward and self explanatory.
Instead, Double D seemed to want some special privilege, of being exempt from that rule, and have Rich (or one of the moderators) post for him ... so wrote back, to Rich, with that request.
Rich's reply, to such a request, was calm and pretty straightforward (because, truly, a person should realize why Rich couldn't/wouldn't post it ... even more so after an explanation, that only paid members can utilize the trader ratings feedback, was given).
Double D chose to be offended when ~his~ being offended was not warranted.

As others have pointed out, Double D could have just posted a "Good Guy" thread, about the person he did business with, (he had/has that ability) but chose not to. Instead, he took the time to post an unwarranted, and lame, "bad Guy" thread about Rich. Boggles the mind.
