    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well Played BHB... Scaleless Ball Pythons

I'd imagine it depends largely on what it looks like, and whether or not it lacks heat pits or something similar. I know Scaleless Corns seem to be picking up, so one the purists calm down a bit and the price tag comes down they should sell, if they're completely healthy.

I could be completely wrong, of course, but I know I'm definitely interested in one (I also dream of a scaleless sunset, so...)

I really like the look of scaleless snakes and they must be cool to handle. In the wild they probably wouldn't make it but being that they are CB they should do fine unless they have a genetic defect linked to the scaleless.

I'm just curious, how is the scaleless thing is any different than breeding the spider gene?

It has a look we like(I realize not everybody likes and/or breeds spiders) and an associated genetic defect that most people agree is some kind of neurological disorder. Yet, we still breed it.

I'm not picking on anyone and for the record, I have Spider in my collection. I'm just curious if people see the Spider gene and the "scaleless" thing as different, or the same...

I think these high dollar morphs rarely sell for that high. They build appeal and retain value for when they actually sell. "Well, if they were $75K three years ago, then $7500 doesn't sound too bad." It all appears to be a game and there are plenty of price tags out there that have no intention to sell.

You'd be surprised at how many "big name" breeders out there are advertising $7k+ animals, and selling them out the back door for WAY less. I think I may have mentioned one in particular to you a while back, and look at his impeccable rep. If people only knew.

I wish Brian the best with the project. It's not for me, but I do think they're neat looking and hope it adds some excitement to the hobby that it's been losing the last few years.

You know like it or not, it's evolution. It's kinda pathetic at how many people slammed Brian for making this. He basically gave them suitable heat, clean beading, fresh water, constant food......what an a-hole! People have to face reality, he did not genetically alter them in any way. He took two snakes that had some traits that made him want to see what they would produce if combined. As far as he knew they would create similar snakes. This was a shock to him when he saw the babies. It is no different than the first pastel to spider. This is something new so we will have to see how the lack of heat pits go. For all we know it may not need them because it has them but on the surface where they are more effective. There is a lot to be learned from this before he thinks of selling any. I wish Brian all the luck for making breakthrough results with this.
