    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I don't even see that. All I see is a judgement against her for $4 grand and a default judgment on her eviction.
 
A dismissal with prejudice means the case can be reopened again. Wendy's landlords probably didn't have all their i's dotted and t's crossed. Looks like third time was a charm though.

You posts may contribute more to the thread if you made an effort to read and actually connect dots yourself rather than constantly asking for PROOF.

I'm trying very hard to connect the dots, Deborah. And in that post I did not ask for proof, I asked a question and openly admitted I did not know the answer to it. I'd rather admit I don't know something than continue going on trying to pretend I do. :shrug01:
So, this case was just on 10/21. The dots I'm still thinking connect are that A. Wendy's store is closing. B. she owed money for rent. C. Wendy is desperately trying to sell her animals on Fauna. D. Wendy had to show up in court to be forced the pay the fees.
What I'm thinking might come next is E. Bankruptcy...She'd be an idiot not to, if she owes all this money and can't pay it (and had to go to court for it).
Either that, OR
she just recently made enough money in sales to pay the debt NOW, after months of not being able to, but by that time she already had received a subpoena and had the court date scheduled. ??
It's hard to connect all of this without knowing more. I'd really like to get more info from that court document. >:/
Maybe Wendy is just an idiot with money, she scammed people in the past, decided jail sucks and tried to be an honest salesperson, played her cards wrong and is now up a paddle with no creek...her store is closing, she owes $4000 in rent, and she's selectively appearing on Fauna to defend herself, and other times choosing to not say a word. (here).

Someone asked to hear from people she stiffed, but if they are pursuing her for civil damages or criminal charges they can't post on here anyway probably because of confidentiality of the case until it is resolved.

That sucks. See, I just want to hear those people's sides, since they were directly involved.
It would be nice if Wendy would say something, but I guess she doesn't have the guts, or doesn't care enough, OR something ridiculous like that. :rolleyes:
I'd just like to say this. In all honesty, I feel like I'm trying to connect the dots, but I just don't feel comfortable that I have all of them there.
Based on what you all say, I don't think I'll buy from Wendy again, especially not now that she's 4,000$ down the toilet. But I don't think I'd tell someone else not to buy from her either, since I don't feel that I know enough to say so.
I'd like to take what I've learned here about scams and check fraud and Wendy and Spokane...and all that...and just bow out gracefully. I don't think Wendy is going to respond and like you said, JHB, I don't think people are able to post on here either until the case is resolved one way or another. (And I don't want to keep making Deborah angry at me ;-; :D sorry Deborah.)
So, until someone else says something, I don't have anything to say. My opinion doesn't matter, your guys' facts do. I have nothing more to contribute, at least nothing you'd like to hear. :)

Real simple.... almost everyone from that area has been trash talking Wendy.... and in either the same breath or at some point... also has been pushing her competition.

So I have to wonder if everyone from WA state that speaks up against her is here to promote her competition and help destroy her rep.

With what I have seen... she can do that on her own.... and doesn't need the help of the competition (past legal troubles and then questionable transactions)

Ah, ok. I was confused, I thought you were saying that because many people from the Spokane area apparently have all sorts of scandalous stories about Wendy, they must be truthful, and I wanted to clarify before I said exactly what you said... that most of them also pushed the competition.
 
Question for Kevin and Lexie to keep the thread on topic. Would either one of you two purchase an animal via the web from Wendy? Would you sell animals to her COD? I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I just want to read it from both of you. Bonus points if you can answer in a simple, yes or no.

So what if somebody has mentioned the other reptile store in Spokane. Trust me if you were in WA state or had the pleasure of having to live in the same neighborhood as her you would probably be chiming in also. You're in Arkansas, all you have had to experience of her is what you read on here. Be thankful of that.

I wouldnt say that I am from the Washington area yet, I have posted MANY times in previous threads that I would NEVER do business with her. Not because she is/was a porn star, not even because she was a rascist/ ex-skinhead groupie, but quite simply because she was ACTUALLY convicted of buying animals and bouncing checks to her vendors.

I find it almost humorous that people defend Wendy for whatever reasons they have but I guarantee you that if someone else wrote a bad check for some animals, threatened to name them in their bankruptcy so they wouldnt have to pay the vendor, and then turned around and listed the same animal(s) for sale, they would be crucified here. And, if they wouldnt be crucified here, I have a ton of old checks on old bank accts that I would LOVE to buy some of your stock with for my little retail operation. ;)

Lol, in my circle of reptile breeder friends in the northwest we might jokingly call her my gf, but we have never been, nor will we ever be in a relationship.
