Bad Guy Wendy Childs, Reptile Addictions

I wouldnt say that I am from the Washington area yet, I have posted MANY times in previous threads that I would NEVER do business with her. Not because she is/was a porn star, not even because she was a rascist/ ex-skinhead groupie, but quite simply because she was ACTUALLY convicted of buying animals and bouncing checks to her vendors.

I find it almost humorous that people defend Wendy for whatever reasons they have but I guarantee you that if someone else wrote a bad check for some animals, threatened to name them in their bankruptcy so they wouldnt have to pay the vendor, and then turned around and listed the same animal(s) for sale, they would be crucified here. And, if they wouldnt be crucified here, I have a ton of old checks on old bank accts that I would LOVE to buy some of your stock with for my little retail operation.

I miss reading the threads from the old days when Jim Flaherty served as her outhouse lawyer on the BOI.

Dean... I myself have spoke up about her past dealings..... but your missing my point. As soon as JHB makes a post on here... now all of a sudden we get a flood of WA folks coming back and bashing and then promoting the compitition.

As far as Im concerned... if folks have a problem with her past or her transactions... so be it. I myself dont condone what she has done in the past.... but the part that gets under my skin is the promotion of her compitition at the same time.

If someone wants to start another thread about her compitition... then by all means have at it. But coming on her to bash (really dont know what other word to use)... and then promote the compitition really is in bad taste and shows me a bit about their character.

As for buying my stock... I dont take checks

I totally agree with the "plugs" for other retail outlets as that isnt what the BOI is for. I am just stating about the factual check fraud convictions on her record that people usually say have no bearing on what she does now. Thats all. If it were anyone else BUT Wendy, people would be all over this. What rubs me raw about her is that she wont pay the breeder(s) for their animals but she has no qualms posting them for sale. To me, thats adding insult to injury.

I thought she used the ex thing to try and cover up that she had created several fake accounts on Fauna. It's been so many posts that I don't remember now.

I'm sure Kevin will correct me if I'm wrong...but I don't see him defending Wendy in the slightest way, nor trying to make her into any sort of victim. All he's doing is quirking a skeptical eyebrow at her "WA enemies" and making note of what appears to be ulterior motives. Are their hearts truly into saving the herping community from a bad guy? Or are they simply taking the opportunity to laugh in derision at their "competition" and promote themselves at the same time. Based on all I've read in this ad, I'd say it's the latter...and that's what Kevin is getting at.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I wouldn't trust her "enemies" any more than I trust her. I'm very glad I don't live in Spokane.

I will agree with the sentiment that I hope this is the last we have seen of her. Maybe she finally realized that all the work involved in keeping and selling herps isn't worth the amounts she's able to scam in the process.

Who cares, it didn't really take this post in a different direction. It wasn't like that person worked at or owned the store. It was just a local Spokie ranting about how they were treated in Wendy's store. I believe a moderator addressed it.

Bad taste? It was done in bad grammar with absolutely no punctuation. I disagree that it was done in bad taste. All in all I would say Wendy is getting everything she is owed in this thread.

Well I just wanted to make a statement since I have heard a few things that bothered me a little....I do not work for rasmussen nor am I friends with anyone that works there I was simply stating that it is a great place and for people in spokane to avoid being treated like crap in wendy's store, as far as being slammed by the way I wrote it I am on my cell phone not a computer and it takes a lot longer to make it perfect so I did it the easy way but it doesn't seem like any1 had a hard time reading it and I definatly did not mean to post twice the first time my phone froze and I did not think it posted it was an honest mistake, and I am not a "wendy enemie" I was a customer who knew nothing about her and was treated like crap for no reason more then once and this is the only place I have felt where people definatly needed to know but as I have continued to read it seems everyone already does lol
