In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I encourage everyone in Western NY to make the trip to this show, it's a small show but full of some really passionate breeders and hobbyists!

Spring Reptile Sale

Sunday May 22nd 2011
9am-3pm

Leonard Post Jr Post No 6251 VFW
2450 Walden Avenue
Cheektowaga, NY 14225-4718 (Just outside Buffalo, NY.)

I'll be vending there and have several gargoyle gecko hachlings available as well as a few more mature gargs.

This should be a really nice show. I'm glad that they decided on doing a spring show this year. Empire reptiles will be vending and will have over 100 geckos to choose from, leopard geckos, african fat tail geckos, crested geckos, and maybe some knob tail geckos. Look forward to seeing people at the show.

Awesome to hear!
Know if there will be any 100% het paternless AFT females? :)

I have a couple that I may bring with me or that I could bring with me. pm me if you are interested and we can talk about it.

Looking forward to meeting you!!

I'm looking for some breedable female cresties to replenish my colony after a bad mold issue over the winter.

Buffalo Reptile House will be vending our hometown show next sunday. We work with Kenyan Sand Boas and will have a wide variety of morphs available for sale. Stop by and say hi ! Ken

For sure!

I always look to make new friends in the herp community!

Are you going to be set up there Donna? Or are you just planning to go to visit?

I'll actually be there with Apex, so I should be extremely easy to find.

Oh no... I remember reading that, I guess it seems like so much farther in the past than I remember... (I guess time kinda drags on when you work 10hr days 6-7 days a week...) I'm sorry... I'm sure things will be back on track by next spring!

See you Sunday...

Yeah!! We're getting back on track, thanks to buying a bunch of mates for the geckos we still had, and making lemonade out of lemons. Not going in the directed we hoped, but still going, if you know what I mean. So what if it takes another year or two to get where we want to be.

It kind of sucks, because most of the geckos we lost were females, and either high-end AC Reptiles and the like, or PetCo $40 juvie geckos that turned out to be spectacular! So to reboot the colony, I had to spend much more to get my hands on a few ready-to-breed ladies...and still don't have mates for all the guys.

Sunday-FOR SURE!!

I hope we have a great turn out for the first spring show! I'm starting to get things around and organized. The car will be packed tonight, well all but the reptiles. Its great only having to drive 1.5 hours compared to 3-4 hours that it takes us to get to the other shows we vend.

I'm pretty excited about it also... I was just looking around the snake room to decide what to bring...

Odds are I won't start packing anything up till later tonight/tomorrow early in the morning...

I'm excited, and I'm not even vending this time!!

I'd be a wreck if I were vending!! I'd be pouring over my To Do lists, doing last minute stuff and getting stuff ready!

I'm always happy to go to herp shows and see all the animals, and meet new people and visit with friends!

I've always been the worst when it comes to putting things off till the last minute... I'm always EXTREMELY disorganized when it comes to preparing for a show, but it almost always turns out alright... This time it's going to be a little more difficult, since I'm going to have to have ID sheets for all the hognoses... but I'm pretty sure I'll make it work..

I have company here from out of town this weekend, which certainly has made getting ready these last two days extra difficult!

Luckily I don't have as much to bring as many other vendors. The biggest pain I have right now is trying to find what containers to put the few sub-adult/adult gargs I have in!

I think next year, we should organize a little buffet rather than ordering the dry/cold pizza.

Everyone working together to bring a dish-even if the people from farther out just bring some home-made cookies or a 9 x 13 cake or cold-cuts or some kind of salad.

Nothing fancy-like something you'd take to a picnic.

Have one person organize the food so you don't have 6 people bringing a bag of chips. And know who brought food, so that the whole crowd isn't eating from our buffet. Like a sticker star on the vendor passes. We could set it up in one central place if everyone was in the same general area...like if we could all get tables in one of the circles.

I think some of the Ciliatus and Pangea members might be interested, too.
