    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Not unless Lucille says something. ;) These particular forums are more for fun and getting to know each other. I don't think people really mind much when things get a little off topic. Besides, unless there's an actual rules violation (people fighting, etc.), the mods pretty much leave things alone in here. :)

I used to be an Internal Medicine resident, but I took a sabatical in order to care for my father while he was dying of cancer. Since he passed away recently, I am now getting ready to go back and finish my residency. However, I will likely be switching specialties when I do.

Thank you. More accurately, I was the lucky one to have a dad like him. As anyone who knew him will tell you, he was a great man. I've never missed anyone so much in my life.

Not oncology...even though it's intellectually fascinating, it's a rough specialty. Unfortunately most of your patients die. I'm probably going into psychiatry. This forum often serves as one case study after another. ;) :hehe:

I DID post a pic! Here, I just took a couple of me posing with sexy expression and one of my best buds.
Keep in mind I didnt bother with makeup or even combing my hair, so I do look like crap, but YOU asked for it!
