In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I hear you Richard! Are your boys kept together? I see them eating well there-getting hitched can be tough-stay sane-I didn't start growing up either till around 30- I remain teachable cause theres so much more growing to do.It helps if you find someone who's willing to grow-up too.
Hey -you never wrestled an alligator have you? Know anywhere I can learn?

Thanx
stef

Hehehe, still on the alligator kick I see...you are fearless!

Your above statements on relationships are so true, Stef.

I wrestled an Amer. Gator, about 6 ft, but it was a pet, and not overly aggressive. It was a rescue about 2 yrs back. The guy left a whole house full of exotics. Granite, and Albino burms, mormal burms, ETB's, ATB's, lizards, and two Indian cobra's. (the reason he left was envenomation). But CDWR always call me when snakes are involved cus I've handled venomous and non for years.
I would suggest watch a lot of Croc Hunter. :) Stevie really knows his stuff. All the gator people I know, grew up around them, so years of practice taught them.
Ciao,
Rick
There's this one guy that occassionally appears on Animal Planet's 'Miami Animal Rescue' show. His name is Albert Killian. He was on last night, handling an Indian Forest Cobra he trapped, & a 10' King Cobra. I have never seen such skill, even from Steve Irwin...The KC was chasing him, & as he was hurrying backwards (but not so fast as to encourage the snake) he calmly commented "aw, he wants to give me a kiss!" However, he did say that envenomation will cause a 2-3 week hospital stay. As a nurse I doubt that; they send you home quicker after sawing through your chest, but I don't know much about hot animals.

nah don't need my swinging arms.
I have guns. So many I lost count.
What is even better is I have TONS of bullets to go with the guns.

Want to know what TOO early for a "six" month old?
You go to change his dieaper.....he starts reaching down and giggling.... As soon as the diaper comes off....his hands are down there making sure his thingy does not run away.

Hahaha, your little cutie doesn't have a thing to worry about!

Wow, your little man learned how to prioritize early! He probably enjoys the reaction he gets from mummy and daddy! I have no children myself, but it never fails to amaze me how in tune some of them really are even before they learn how to speak and understand.

things that make me look small

Early in this thread, I posted a pic of me holding my old alligator snapper. Paul said it made me look small (actually, he said oompa loompa, lol). In keeping with that theme, here are two more pics...taken first thing this morning. And, yes, I'm standing next to my truck.

You know, standing next to a Matchbox car and holding a Chihuahua really did not help disprove the whole oompa loompa thing! :raspberry

Griz

Presa Canario...and before people start thinking I really am an oompa loompa - I think I have about 5 lbs on him, lol, so it's ok that his head is as big as mine.

For the record

I am 5'10", about 165#. the dog is 160. and the truck...well, here it is next to my Blazer

Hmmm...BIG Truck...Big Dog...Could someone be compensating?
teu31.gif

Now before you go making comments like that (I knew SOMEBODY would, lol)- I have a big truck and a little truck, a biggish dog, and 2 smaller dogs...I am down to one motorcycle, though. and NO big snakes anymore. I call the big truck an investment in safety...I rarely get cutoff while driving that one

oh - nicolai

there is one way to resolve the question about compensating....but my wife just told me I can't send those pictures to boys on the internet
:raspberry

Presa Canario...
I thought so, but I wasn't 100% certain. He's huge for a presa! How much does he weigh?

I've had a couple of presas myself...they're great dogs! :)

Opps...never mind. You already answered that question. (I should have read ahead.) ;)

160...that's a damn big presa! :D

 Harold, that's great! lol I have a big car and a little car, too. My big car isn't THAT big though, and I think I don't think I would have to cut you off, because my little car could probably fit UNDER your big one!

Oh, and I think your dog could probably eat my 50 lb. golden retriever. :eatsmiley (see avatar)

yeah, he should lose about 10 lbs - but he's lazy...and when I do get him running around the little black dog tells him to knock it off. He is the typical Presa though - wants to be where I am all the time. If I'm outside, he has to be; but if I go in and leave him in the yard, he throws a fit. He doesn't care what is going on, as long as he is there. Needless to say, I don't worry much about my wife or house when I am not home...between the Presa, the pit, and the black dog(lab, pit, chow mix), things are as safe as they are gonna get. btw, there are pics of all of them on my website (About Us)

Nice Presa HH! Now that's a dog. More to my liking. I have thought of getting one of those. I have had a Mastino Napolitano, and a Tosa, and several Am. PBT's, and a Staffordshire.

So how are they on tempermant? J/C
My Tosa was impossible. Couldn't take him anywhere, and had to put him up even when family came arorund. Very aggressive, and could never break him of that. :hot: All the rest were great in public though.

Ciao,
Rick

Oh yeah, Nice trucks. Big or small, both nicer than mine. LOL
