    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What do you mean when you say or read "Proven"

  • It means s/he has mated and had viable young.

Another term that may coincide with "proven"

although won't apply to reptiles but mostly to to birds and a few other species is " bonded ". Bonded means that the male and female are bonded true with breeding and mates. One time mate. While I know that most of our parrots are of this term, I think that most raptors ( a term that really means " thief " but is used in birds of prey for why i don't know ) are also. The term may not even apply to humans as we know it. LOL !
 
The term "Proven", means that the snake/herp in question, has successfully bred, and the young were what they were represented as being proven for, as well as healthy and deviod of any unwanted deformities. What other definition could be acceptable? This isn't rocket science. We, in the herp community, should demand that the term "proven" is not open to interpretation. :bandhead0
