• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

What morph is he?

Sheesh .. Fizz/Noah, you came here asking the opinions of others with more knowledge and experience. You got the opinions of others with way more knowledge and experience than you.
Yet, you will still argue with them about your "rescue"? Yes, it appears to be a dark normal. And as already pointed out, if it was a high end morph, the owner would not have just given it to the pet store, and the pet store owners would know exactly what it is and it's history.

Okay maybe he is a dark normal, I don't know, just like everyone else said; you truly don't know, without info, until you breed them. But that doesn't change the fact that I rescued him, yes I say rescue because the pet store didn't even have a heating pad under his tank. They used a heat lamp that i'm not even sure if it was uvb bulbs. Also he had no real hide, only a stick slimmer then his body. And the water seemed to have not been changed since I came in a week earlier of when I got him. I got there to bring him home, and the water bowl was empty only for the owner to coming rushing back with a ceramic bowl filled with water. Also he's probably needed to shed for who knows when. He didn't have a moist hide or anything similar so I doubt they even misted the tank.

I agree with what you're saying, but as someone who runs a rescue that the local pet stores turn to when they get animals dropped off on them, let me say this.....
I have had many higher end morphs of animals come into PETCO of all places. The management there contacts me when they get in surrenders so that I might be able to assess them and find them a permanent home.

The last two reptile rescues we got in were: 1 male hypo translucent leatherback with paradox polkadot spotting and 1 female super pastel Mojave clown ball python.

I know far fetched and a little crazy - these animals weren't in great shape but I was still amazed someone would drop them at a pet store free.

That being said, I think the gecko is normal until proven, but who knows? Maybe something is there or he is a heterozygote. People have turned in crazier things to pet stores! I have seen living proof.
