    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What other pets do you guys keep?

I am still kind of new to the forums, so I was wondering what other types of pets/herps you all keep.

Currently I have 5 leopard geckos and 1 Suriname Boa Constrictor. For my birthday, I got a SHTCT Giant (on his way from KelliH!) which will bump my leo count to 6 and I got an Antilles Pink-Toe Tarantula (versicolor) from a friend who is trying to get me to like spiders! :eek2: Lol, I named the lil' guy Sammy and have been doing lots of research on him. So far I am comfortable with observing him. I don't think I will ever attempt to handle him though! He loves his crix, that's for sure!

As far as the leos go, I have successfully bred my female patternless to my tang Bell and have got the hovabator ready for eggs! I think she is going to lay very soon and I am thrilled to have my first eggs!

Anyways, please share your stories, and if anyone has tarantula advice, please share that as well! :bolt01: Thanks!

Edit: Sammy just molted and he is one HAIRY little guy (gal?) so I changed his name to "Fluffy." I think that is a better name for a spider anyways. :hehe:

I currently keep 2 leos, and there are plently of pics of them floating around in cyberspace.

I also have two cats. Both were adopted strays. Troi is the brown tabby, and is 15 years old. He happens to think he's a person and will sit like one and look at you like "What?". He sleeps between our heads at night (ANNOYING with the tail and purrs), and will carry on a conversation with you. People think we have a baby in the house when they hear him on the phone. Mitsu is the orange tabby, and he's 3 years old. He thinks everyone and everything his his plaything/furniture...this includes Troi and Eric as you can see here!

Well these boats aren't luxury cruises. They are more like the Alaskan crabbing boats. Not much relaxation, just lots of work, but the when the hull if full it's time to go to market and make some money.

feeders and feeder makers

four live rat colonies

p.s. i do not consider my reptiles or feeders "pets", even though i really do like some of my rats... as far as reptiles are concerned the closest thing to a "pet" i currently keep are the leos and the fattys but they are still non domesticated animals and even though allot of my reptiles were not produced in the wild and are cbb they are still wild animals and need to be respected as such
