    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

And how was he supposed to know that? That's comparable to the fit the other member had because you said something to the effect of 'talk about your kids'. Don't take everything so darned personally...the world doesn't know all your triggers, so when one mistakenly gets tripped, try to keep it together unless you have good reason to believe it was intentional.

Id love to see a reinforcement of the topics instead of two subjective opinions that end up in a mental wrestling match over nothing. So that being said my questions here are answered...the majority of statements are interpreted by the mods who are moderated by other mods and a fella named Rich....thanks
 
id love to offer a myirad of reasons why that statement is off topic..and how the impact and rammifications are much greater than any off topic statements ive made .id rather allocate my time to focus on the topics and subjects that are more worthy of time and effort....good day

I hate to have to be the one to break this news to you, fella, but YOU aren't the one who makes any rules here. Nor are you in any position to interpret the rules and make demands that they be enforced in compliance with your own wishes. Just because something might offend you does not make it automatically off topic and therefore off limits to everyone else. If that were the case, well, we couldn't talk about ANYTHING here because certainly someone, somewhere, would be offended by it.

And in case you haven't noticed, all rules are gray areas subject to interpretation by the moderators. Heck, they aren't even REQUIRED to enforce the rules if they don't want to. One might see a post that looks OK to them, but another might believe that it is a clear violation in their own opinion. I give them a lot of leeway in how they do their job here, and quite frankly I am pleased as punch that I have such a capable crew here to help me out with this site. Probably a good thing for some of you that they are doing this job for me, as quite honestly I've gotten short on patience, low on tolerance, and pretty much completely inclined to just remove someone from this site and my presence at the slightest provocation lately. So it's REALLY better for them to deal with you rather than me.

I guess the quote below is some attempt on your part to show comments and statements that, in your opinion, should not be allowed here (especially in reference to you):

Sorry, but opinions ARE welcome here and they are actively encouraged. This is what provides the peer pressure necessary to force people to sometimes take a hard look at their own self when they see so many people expressing opinions indicating that perhaps they really are on the wrong road according to OPINIONS of those people in the same business and with the same interests.

Sorry, bub, but it's been that way since the beginning here, and I will tell you quite frankly that this is not going to change while I am around here. Those that don't like it are simply free to go elsewhere more to their liking, I guess.
 
Does it really matter? Amazing how people will get so upset over website postings. It's really easy to say "ok what ever" and forget it or "I guess this place isnt for me" and leave.
 
Very easy to get upset. But this is a great resource if you know how to get along and I for one will never leave. I have learned too much!
Daniel I have already pmed you and apologized for getting so upset at you, noting that you couldn't possibly have known exactly how much that belittling remark would actually anger me, but I would hope that it would teach you to be a little nicer to people. I was on your side for most of that thread you know. I trust the mods and I trust Rich to keep this place safe and a great place for all of us, and so far they are doing a terriffic job!
 
This is Rich's house. He built it, he maintains it, he makes the rules. If he doesn't want you to come in, or if he wants you to leave, that's his choice. It can be for any reason he wants, even if he doesn't like your haircut. If you build a house, you can make the rules.
