    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Why cant i do anything on here anymore? Ive done nothing wrong, i get positive feedback and i was in the middle of a transaction with someone. Why all of a sudden cant i reply to a post or even see them now????? PLEASE HELP!!!
 
I would recommend changing your signature now as well, I think Rich has made his point.....LOL.

You can still do everything else here that you could do before, EXCEPT post in the classifieds.
 
Well i apologize, i saw someone do it a while back and thought it was a good idea. Im not the only one with it and i didnt think it mattered. Does a warning go away or stay for ever?
 
warnings stay...until you reach the suspension level, then they are reset when you pay your fine.

You perhaps were just the first one who got "caught" doing it. I'm sure if it is noticed, they will get the same warning.
 
I think it's crap that we can't post what we want to be our signatures. It's OUR supposed signatures it should be whatever we want it to be. But forum rules are forum rules.....They don't always make sense but neither does half the stuff that happens in this world.

I think its crap that I can post in 99.9% of this site for free.

I think its crap that I’m selling animals and advertising on this site and I actually have to pay a fee to do it. I’m entitled to receive this service for free. Aren’t I?

I think its crap that I can’t go to someone else’s site, register, then post on that person’s site whatever I want, even when I don’t pay any of the bills to keep the site running. I’m entitled.

I think its crap that site admin would dare make rules on his site. After all, I’m entitled to do whatever I want.

I think its crap that I get all this for free, and I’m going to tell the owner that his rules and decisions are “crap”!

It’s my signature and I can do whatever I want on your site. I’m so self-center that I believe because I register on your site for free, that I own my signature line. It’s not a courtesy the site gave me; I’m entitled to it.

I’m entitled to get around the rules for paying to advertise animals for sale on this site by using the free signature that I own, on your site.

Prime example. This person can no longer register under bogus user names and post in the classifieds.

This is Jessee Fricker AKA tail shaker who has now registered under the alas "skinnie" because he has taken a customer's money and not sent anything. Nothing more than a scammer.

So we should allow anything people want in their signatures? How about porn links? Spam links? I sure would not want the kids that visit this site seeing that kind of crap. You need to open your eyes and see the big picture on why somethings maybe done around here.

And for those that think posting something for sale in their signature to by pass the fee requirement for classifieds is a good idea, think again. That is a slam dunk, clear cut case of theft of services and a very illegal act through out the Country. It will not be tolerated at all.
 
No as long as it's respectable and appropriate for the PUBLIC then it should be allowed whatever we want it to be. But like i said forum RULES are forum rules. I didn't say anything negative towards this site in anyway, it was a general statement that's all. Don't take it too personal. .....I also wasnt saying that it's right to surpass the classifieds by posting it under your signature at all either, i think that is very wrong. But then again that's why i post in all the 100% free classifieds.
 
You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of them all the time.

It's just a signature...don't raise a stink about something so minute.

Some sites only let you have a signature of 3 lines. That's basically what i was saying. That i don't think that is should be limited to what you have there as long as it appopriate and not a classified because this particular site you have to pay for the classifieds, same as kingsnake, and i agree it's not appropriate if you could just post it in your signature. Sorry i should have explained and not just left it plan jane like that, it probably came off pretty wrong.
