His post was about not getting his cricket's. How he cares for his reptiles is his responsibility. Lucas Denning , you can be a genious and still make spelling errors ask many on this board. Stop being petty about a spelling error. As for the Jag thing, i'm not in the military so don't know and don't care, but has nothing to do with cricket's not being delivered. If you want to ridicule him, email him personally as i haven't heard anyone dispute his original complaint only argue about everything but that. I don't know wormman only read complaints and rebuttals from a past  post on him. To those of you who had a prior complaint and now say he is a good guy that great but at some point you had posted a problem so what makes yours any different then Stanley's? The main thing i hear is communication and not contacting buyer when a problem arises. There are good companies and bad ones. Stanley could be the worst reptile owner in the world (only hypathetical) but he ordered cricket's and didn't get them, period..

As Lucas pointed out in his response: A healthy Dragon will not die of only a week without food.
Since I only know you by your writing I feel that maybe someone ought to fill you in on how to properly feed your Dragons.
First of all. Crickets have absolutely no nutritional value for you dragons unless you gutload them first. They will only be as nutritional as what they eat and retain. There are several good gutloads on the market so take a look around. If you feed your feeder insects like you feed you dragons and most of what your feeding them is crickets, no wonder they died of malnutrition.
Secondly. Dragons love salads. You can almost buy their entire diet right in the veggie section of the super market. Just grab some powdered suppliment at the pet store to sprinkle on.

There was absolutely no reason why they died in a week or even 2 weeks time unless you weren't feeding them right to begin with so don't blame it on Wormman. I too had a problem with delivery from Wormman but I went out and used other available sources to feed my reptiles.

I too would like to know what school you're a full time student at that doesn't require good ENGLISH. If I remember correctly, Most schools do preliminary tests to see if you can take college level courses or if you need to take non-credit to start with in order to brush up. Who's doing your papers for you?

Good luck with your Dragons and I hope you do some research on the proper diet for them.

I usually don't say anything about a post full of errors, but since he was bragging about how smart he was, I thought it was kinda funny.  I know it's petty, it's just that he's sitting here bragging about how smart he is, but a lot of his post is hard to follow.  I'm not saying that I don't make some grammatical erros or spelling errors in my posts, but you also don't see me on here telling the world what my GPA is.

I am not forgetting the main reason of his post....HE DID NOT GET CRICKETS.
mr. wormman is working on that.
I agree there was miscommunication. and it should be fixed if Ken wants more business.

I only went on the attack because
1.  the information about jag was wrong...it was a complete lie.
2.  the lie he told about having a weeks worth of crickets in one post.....then in the e-mail he says the lizards have been starving for a week.
3.  I don't really believe the "my friends own pet stores"  he could have borrowed a couple crickets.
4.  I do not believe that the pet stores were closed ALL THAT TIME.  I was living in South Carolina around the holidays....In South Carolina they were only closed on christmass...I think Christmass Eve too.  If I remember correctly they were also closed on new years day.  But the rest of the time they were open.  Maybe the pet stores where he is located are different.  (but it should not be that different)
5.  I do not believe the "I have a 4.0"

I am a guy that got a cumulative of 1.59 my first two years of college(proof can be scanned and e-mailed if you wish).  But look at my spelling....  it is not as bad as his
Yes I have definatley raised my GPA to a 3.0 (which is not all that) but still look at the difference in spelling.


There is nothing wrong with him posting his experience....but to try and threaten a lawsuite because he killed his own animals is disgusting.

the weekend after 9/11 I went to the clubs....there was some guy who was in the reserves and got called to active duty...He was running around showing his ID to everyone.  I guess he was trying to score with the women and get free drinks...
He was doing okay and I was gonna leave him alone...until he thought he could get a free drink from me.....He showed me his ID....  I told him to "look at my haircut (curse word, curse word, curse word)"  then I told him "can I be cool like you?  Because I have on of those ID's too"

to make a long story short.......Do not use the fact that you are in the military to get freebies.  IT IS REALLY DISGUSTING !!

I just think unless the posts have anything to do with a good or bad experience it clutters things up and the original point is lost in all the comments in between as Neils seem to do everytime he replies on every post regardless if it has anything to original message. "He didn't recieve cricket's" that was the post. Had his animals lived and he posted that he didn't recieve his order would he still be all the names he has been called. Neil if you spent half the time you do making smart comments on keeping your store safe you may prevent a third break in. See how i got off the original topic. Remember He didn't get what he ordered. Why doesn't anyone seem to ask the seller why he has had alot of problems instead of blaming the buyer. Yes we all know you should order your feeders prior to needing them as things do happen. Say what you will about me i have no problem responding to it but for once people try and discuss WHY HE DIDN'T GET HIS CRICKET'S and hear the repsonse from the seller.....

I don't care if all the crickets were delivered dead for two months, the pet stores completely went out of business for a two hundred mile radius, and the only insects to be found anywhere were the moths flittering around inside this guy's empty head . . . Go to WalMart and get some kale, bok choi, broccoli, almost ANYTHING, and feed your animals until the insects come in!  Waxworms, mealworms, even beetles of various types could have been used in the meantime, but there is NO EXCUSE for allowing animals like bearded dragons to starve to death!

This guy is lucky that a few of us ex-military types don't get together and educate him in another old-timer's military tradition.  Can any of you say "blanket party?"

Oh, and the 4.0?  I'd say that was a probable typo and should read 0.4!

Yeah, right.  I seldom take sides in an issue here and try to be neutral as much as possible, but when someone points their BS cannon towards my site, you then become fair game.  Your problem is that you can not see how completely transparent your statements are to an intelligent audience.  The fact that more than one person sees this clearly makes you think you are being ganged up on by a group on some sort of 'buddy list'.

You were dealt with in exactly the manner this board was designed to do.  Your posts are so laced with BS that I'm surprised the text isn't brown in color.  Dean's list my arse!  IMHO, the only Dean's list you would be on is the one which lists people whom are in jeopardy of being academically dismissed for failing grades.  I seldom see such poor spelling, gramatical, and punctuation skills even in people whom English is not their primary language.  Yours is absolutely atrocious, and if you truly are in 'COLLAGE', then all of your instructors should be hauled out onto the parking lot and flogged. 4.0 average?  Duh, yeah I believe that one! I do believe you inverted the numbers around the decimal point.

So tell me, Mr. Whitt, why are all of those 117 people whom emailed you in favor of your position so shy that they don't post here in support of you?  And please don't think that someone whom might have had a problem with WormMan in the past is supportive of how you handled your problem, as you are inferring.

I do believe my Board of Inquiry is doing pretty well at what I had intended it to do.  People posting bogus stories are just as open to scrutiny as the people they are posting about, and I believe this to be just and fair.

Oddly enough, I had worked in the retail pet trade for several years. While we were closed on major holidays, it's unheard of in the industry to close down for two weeks at a time, especially during one of the most profitable times of the year. In adition, I  had lived in south GA for several years, and never had a problem finding an open pet store during the holiday season.

To address some points made by other posters...
Joel, there is more than meets the eye here, as Stanley's story is full of holes & pseudoreasoning. To begin with, he blames worm man for his dragon dying, despite the fact that he neglected to feed it for two weeks. The JAG tangent is entirely relevant to this thread, as he is lying and attempting to use his position as a military member to intimidate Ken C into giving him something to which he is not entitled.

Ritchie, you about summed it up for me. Disgusting behavior indeed.

Darin, I'll supply the soap & towels for the party! In basic, most of us had liquid soap, so we used those hard-as-a rock government pillows. They elicited much the same response from the party's guest of honer.

Webslave- I love you man! (in a platonic, let's just shake hands kind of way). It's kind of hard to remain neutral when someone is just shoveling the b.s. like that.

Ok, I would like to know just one thing from Mr. Whitt.

How is it that you have time to raise a family, breed 13 bearded dragons and raise all of the babies for one month, spend enough time studying "collage" level books, and still be full service in the army.  
If you are really doing all of that at once, my hat goes off to you, but if all of your other life pursuits result in you neglecting 13 dragons, then you need to decide what to give up.  

In defense of Mr. Whitt?s spelling and grammar usage, I was about a 3.0 student, and can not spell worth ####; but I know how to use spell check.

While it does suck that your crickets never arrived, it is pretty much crap that you would blame wormman.com for the death of your dragon.  
So since your crickets didn't arrive, did wormman come up to your house, take your dragon to his house, not feed it for two weeks, and then bring it back to your house to die?  I am pretty sure he didn't.  He is not the one that chose to ignore your dragon's needs.  YOU are.  Accept responsibility.  It sucks you didn't get your feeder insects from him, but he didn't kill your dragon.  YOU DID!
But since you apparently didn't bother to go looking for crickets(I am sure Petco/Petsmart wasn't closed for two weeks), are you going to blame the local pet stores for the death of your dragon since they were closed for the holidays?  And I have alsoe worked in a retail shop and please, if your friends' shop is closed for 2 weeks during the holidays, they are making a big mistake since that is a good season.  

And I am curious, but my first(and consequently ONLY) year of college thus far I had a 1.59 GPA.  Nothing to be especially proud of, but how come you with a 4.0 can't spell worth a crap and I can?  And besides, anyone that would let a lizard starve for two weeks doesn't seem all that intelligent to me in the first place.

Judging by your male on kingsnake, she is right, you don't feed your animals!  I just saw that pic, didn't even look at the name and thought, "wow, what a thin, pathetic looking male dragon!"  Then I saw the name and it sounded familiar, so I did a search and came up here and remembered, o yah, the guy who starves his dragons!  That makes sense.

Originally, I as skeptical of the whole thing posted by Stanley, because I know that a healthy bearded dragon can go without food for much longer periods of time than 2 weeks. Now however, after seeing the picture he posted to show what a beautiful dragon the father of his babies is. I believe that Stanleys bearded dragons could starve to death after a very short period of time, perhaps minutes. Stanley, You should be ashamed!!
