Anyhow, with all due respect, why isn't it perfectly reasonable to want some substantial proof? If I was the buyer, and the necropsy was already paid for, why not rest assured this issue will be resolved once the data there?
Even if that is my boa, it doesnt make sense how he died within 3-4 days when he was PERFECTLY healthy before I shipped him. Even when David (the buyer) received my boa, there wasnt the smallest complaint about anything.
I didnt hear anything from David until THURSDAY at 3:56pm (have all call days/times) stating that the snake had some mucus from his mouth and that he made a vet appointment for Friday. Then on Friday he calls saying that he went to pick up the snake to bring to the vet and it was dead.
Another thing I wanted to point out the boa arrived at 9:15AM. I REQUIRE on ALL SHIPMENTS, I MUST here from the buyer immediately after delivery. I waited and waited and he never called. I called at 9:52AM he didnt answer so I left a voicemail. I called again at 9:54AM and picked up and said everything was perfect and the boa was healthy and great.
Another thing I wanted to point out, the driver stated GARAGE on the tracking number. I CONTACTED UPS and they informed me the driver would have put "Handed to man" or "Handed to person" if the driver actually gave it to someone. Therefore, I am not even sure if David actually was there for the package considering he never called me and the box was delivered GARAGE.
Wanted to add:
I believe the snake was overheated in the cage he was put into. There is no way he could have gotten that dehydrated (eyes sunken in) and died within 4 days unless he died of overheating which he was HEALTHY when he arrived and I didnt hear ANYTHING about something being wrong with him until THURSDAY at 3:56PM. So the snake was in his custody from TUESDAY 9:15AM - THURSDAY 3:56PM and I didnt hear any issues until that moment. Thats a little odd that all of a sudden the snake is dead like that.
Why dont you read what I stated above about overheating. This whole situation is wrong. How the hell did my boa get so damn dehydrated AND OVERHEATED that he looks like he has no damn eyes?? Explain that one for me. I didnt hear from David until THURSDAY at 4PM, he received the snake TUESDAY at 9:15AM.
Look at the obvious why dont you. The snake was fine but had mucus at Thursday at 4pm but then at 11:30am Friday the snake was dead and looked like he got his eyes ripped out of the sockets????
Answer that one. I believe the cage overheated or the thermostat failed or something to cause that cage to get so damn hot, it killed my boa. I am not a moron, look at time frames.
It is perfectly reasonable. In fact, I would ask for it myself. However, Yaz said he wouldn't waste money on a necropsy and then agreed to refund $300. He then implied that the buyer was using photos of a different snake to try to get money form him (and it is obviously the snake.) Then he asks for more pictures of the dead snake. That would be like David asking Yaz for more pics of the snake. Maybe Yaz could take one of the right side of the snakes for us? Oh right...that is impossible!
After agreeing to $300 with no necropsy, the buyer is now offered $250 and has to provide a necropsy?
I understand your point but it's already after the fact, why not just be patient and confident instead of demanding? Personally, I can see how the demanding would provoke a little suspicion on my part.
This is turning into a crappy situation. Just curious, since the full necropsy paperwork will take 7 days or so, why not at least provide some type of paperwork? That may satisfy any doubt there might be that a necropsy was actually done (no disrespect, I'm a data kind of guy, and I've had my fair share of bad experiences with people on the internet). I'm sure there is a receipt or a report was made of the findings. I can't recall going to a vets office and not getting some type of document (be it a receipt with dates/procedure, etc). Just trying to be reasonable in all this.

Dean, my gurantees on sales are, Live arrival gurantee. However I only gurantee that if the buyer calls me IMMEDIATELY after delivery.
Which wanted to say that considering it was delivered GARAGE and he never called me like I REQUIRE which he agreed to (I had to call him, and talked to him almost an hour after the boa arrived). This deal wasnt done like I require so in all honesty I shouldnt pay for anything.
That snake could have been sitting there forever. Dont want to make assumptions but what if he said he got the boa and everything was fine but truly never was at his house until later sometime in the day. So that boa was sitting there all day in the garage (assuming the door was ajarred a little) or outside the garage. UPS stated that if the package was HANDED to someone like he said, that it would have been "Handed to man" "Handed to person".
This is very sketchy. Again heres the time frame:
TUESDAY
9:15AM: Boa delivered GARAGE
9:52AM: I called him, no answer so I left a voicemail
9:54AM: I called him, he picked up and said the boa was perfect and healthy
Didnt hear from him the rest of the day.
WEDNESDAY
Never heard from him
THURSDAY
3:56 PM: He called, and said the boa had mucus and he made a vet appointment for Fri.
Didnt hear from him the rest of the day.
FRIDAY
11:56 AM: He called saying the boa was dead
So from Thursday 3:56 PM - Friday 11:56 AM the boa died and looked as if his eyes were sucked out of him? There is NO way that he died that instantly and looked like how he did from pneumonia. MAYBE he had some type of pneumonia but he DID NOT die from it. I think the cage overheated massively for some reason and it killed him overnight. The pictures of the boa with the mucus from his mouth were taken Thursday based upon thats when David called me and told me about that, and then the pictures of him dead was taken Friday based on when David called me. So how he looked like in the mucus pics to the dead pics within less than a day, makes no sense at all.
