Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just find it strange that they won't unblock him after such an overwhelming request. I used to think this forum was created for the reptile enthusiast by the reptile enthusiast, now I think it was created for the reptile enthusiast by the reptile enthusiasts that want to have power over the others. If this forum was truly for herpers, give the herpers what they want. Why do Wyvern and Jeff care so much about something so silly? If you let the guy back, what would happen? He would actually contribute something of substance rather then post 15 times about how his new kingsnake isn't eating?

Wyvern, I assume you are the same Wyvern from that AOL Pet Forum thing from a few years back? No offense, but you were on a power trip then, and I get the impression not much has changed. I see you are in a position where you have control over the other herpers rather then be on the same level, yet again.

Oh well, I guess there is no point in disagreeing with any form of 'authority' now a days.

I was "rude and accusatory" to JeffB privately and I was banned permenantly. Jeff loves his control doesn't he. Just when I thought this was over. Oh well it puts a smile on my face seeing more and more people turning away from kingsnake.

Does anyone else notice that the problems over there are multiplying and accelerating? It's kind of like the joke I had pasted to my wall at my office when I worked for the state of Florida:

Do not post something that differs from the opinion of the moderators. If they make a mistake...do not call them on it.
Your account will be safe. Everyone will be happy. And the forum will look like one big happy family. :)

now you all go play nice and post nice. or you will all be banned too.

Or the alternative is to go to a site where your opinions will not be erased and you are welcome to correct the moderators if they are wrong.

I was thinking the same thing Ritchie. It seems though, that Rich had the idea before either one of us, as there does exist a field collecting forum on this site.

I am not ashamed to admit that I've been directing more than a few of the banned, soon-to-be banned, and just plain fed up members of the other forum here.
 
I was just emailed by someone asking me for info about some erroneous statements that had been posted on AOL a while back indicating I had been banned at kingsnake.com. He wanted the info to help out someone who has been banned from kingsnake.com for real for something he posted in the Field Collecting forum.

I just visited the Field Collecting Forum at kingsnake.com and all I can say is Viva la Revolucion! I guess you guys knew about this for a while now, but it is the first I have heard of it. Holy horse shaist (did I spell it right - supposed to be German)! I cannot believe how many people are hammering that site, jnor can I believe how many are apparently being banned or being threatened with being banned. A moderator has actually threatened to shut down that forum if the boys and girls don't behave. I kind of doubt that such threats will help kingsnake.com. It looks as if the giant may fall over its own feet pretty soon if things don't change over there. Can you imagine the ripple effect closing a forum will have on users in other forums, at least among the adults with guts.

Hopefully anyone who is banned from kingsnake, for the reasons they are currently being banned, will come this way and ad to the customer base here.

I am hopeful that someone can email me sort of a briefing on that situation so I do not have to go to the Field Collecting forum and read what appear to be at least 50 or more posts on the subject; let alone the fact that some posts over there have already been pulled of the forum. Thanks in advance.

Do you think I can get away with posting in the other forums "does anybody do any field collecting? did you know we have a forum for it, check it out" and spread the word a little? :D
 
I tried the link to the post at kingsnake.com that had the user name of faunaclassified but it has been deleted. I don't know if it is the same one that Ritchie Luna is posting about.

Well, whomever had that name registered at kingsnake.com is one heck of a little rascal - even though I kind of like posting at kingsnake.com, I have to admit at the risk of losing my privelages there: I friggin love it - it is absolutely PRECIOUS a real gem!
