    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Most of you probably know that polasian (Nick) was made a mod of the classifieds section a while back, to help take the load off of the other mods. I think everyone will agree that he has done and excellent job there, and matter of fact has been putting so much time and effort into the job, that he has been instrumental in alerting the site mods of issues in areas of the site outside of his purview.

So I figured, well, what better way to reward the guy for such an outstanding job than to give him more work and responsibility? That's how it works, doesn't it.... :hehe:

So effective today, Nick is now a site-wide moderator and certainly will be taking up even more of the moderator work load.

Thanks, Nick, for really helping out here. It is greatly appreciated by all. Well, except for those people who got a rash over being reprimanded by you, of course.
 
Here’s a short story that attests to Nick’s character. When the thread for the site moderators was posted Nick sent a PM just to let me know Rich Carew had nominated me. Bear in mind he was one of the candidates for that position. How many people does anyone know that will inform an additional potential competitor to run against him? He wanted this responsibility, but yet he thought about another person first. Needless to say I was greatly impressed; he has our community at heart. Best of lucks Nick!
