    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy Johns Stranahan/ JasBalls

all i have t say is i posted a thread a while back on here that he did not like and he basically attacked me on another site, I would never do buisness with a guy thatverbally attacked and threw around some names at me not only do i not know or ever met this guy but roght from that I could tell he is a real winner, ihe may have some nice snakes but there are a lot others out there and you do not have to deal with his mentality.
 
I don't have a dog in this fight.An individual posted a good guy thread on a transaction.Then you have people saying the transaction they had was bad.Shouldn't this have already been posted in a bad guy thread?

I am a newbie here but it always(well,not always)seems somebody is (for a better term) hijacking someones good guy thread.
Someone's bad experience does not take away from the op's good transaction.
If you have a bad transaction,shouldn't be in another thread?
I may be way off base,but if you actually USE the BOI,you can look this stuff up and decide for yourself.
 
Look not saying he has bad snakes just that he is very rude and should not be talking crap about potential customers. He did not know me from a whole in the wall or what I have or know about snakes he made some very nasty remarks in nerds forum if Kevin did not delete it because of the content I qwould have posted that here, it all goes to the character of the the person you are doing buisness with if you would like to do buisness with a guy who is cool taking your money and then bashes you in the next breath be my guest.

Actually...in theory, ALL posts about a single individual or business should be posted in the same thread. It usually doesn't work out that way because people like to start their own...but that's how it was originally intended to work.

ALL transactions or interactions with an individual are relevant. Yes, someone started a good guy thread, but that label does not in any way limit what people should post in this thread, so long as it is relevant to the subject (person/business) of the thread.

If someone doesn't want a slew of bad things mentioned about them in their good-guy threads...then maybe they should conduct themselves a little more appropriately in their everyday lives.
 
My point was that, I have seen the things she has said to people, PURPOSELY to tick them off..

There was no premise to the conversation they had.. She was a troll, so I think it is unfair to post a one sided conversation, and just agree that it must just be as "she" claims it was..

Not like John can post his side or anything.
 
In any other BOI thread, when one party has been shown to be a liar, are their posts deleted? IMO, it is a simple policy question, and there is nothing about this that would require special consideration.

His "Got Skateboards" comment was meant to hurt me because of something to do with a close family member that I lost that was a skater, and died holding his board, and was also buried with it. I have a tribute tattoo for that person that incorporates a skateboard in it. Jas knew all of this because I was foolish enough to become his fb friend and therefore he could read all about that person I lost and see the photos.

We all know now that "Lena" was a fake but Jas didn't know that prior to what he said to her about her "dead loved one". He pulled the same crap with me. I don't give a rat's behind if his ball pythons crap out gold turds, I would never buy from him. In fact, I'll take it a step further and say that I'd rather cut off one of my toe's than buy from that piece of garbage. :censored:

I wouldn't nominate Jas to teach a Ms. Manners class, but I would purchase an animal from him in a heartbeat. He's always had great looking snakes and people who hand over their money to him don't seem to be disappointed.

You're right - he can't. Normally I'd gladly do business with a person who is a little lippy but produces fine animals and can be counted on to hold up their end of a deal........

As a parent, the worst thing I could even begin to imagine is losing a child. Any piece of crap who would taunt someone who has gone through losing a child, who has endured something that most of our minds dare not even imagine - is a rotten, worthless piece of crap.

Great looking snakes my left nut. After reading what he said to Mrs. Hammack why would you even go there Walt? Why waste your time defending the indefensible? The fact that he produces a nice snake does not give him a free pass to be a heartless dick.

This is the first time in my 40+ years on the planet I've seen a person degenerate to a level that they would tease and ridicule another person about the loss of a child. As far as I'm concerned, anyone willing to step up and give him a pass on this type of behavior is as big a jackass as he is.

Kelli, I would first like to say that I'm truly sorry to hear that you lost your son. I couldn't even imagine it. There's no doubt in anyone's mind that what John said was amazingly out of line and I certainly don't support those comments.
This thread started as a good guy post on John regarding his snake sales. While he rubs many people the wrong way, almost everyone (that I know of) has had very positive experiences and transactions when it comes to business. In that respect he's someone who's animals I've always admired and would have considered myself lucky to own an animal from him. His sand paper tongue hasn't done him many favors, but the man breeds great snakes.
My post earlier was based on that, and not on his comments toward the unfortunate loss of your son.
 
I would also like to mention that I didn't read past page one earlier when I skipped ahead to write my first reply (guess I learned my lesson there). I didn't realize what he had said regarding Kelli's son. I read Craig's reply after I made my last post and I understand what he's saying as I have 13 and 16 yr old girls. Those comments would certainly have been a deal breaker for me as well.
 
Walt....I luv ya, hon....but I believe John's actions go FAR beyond a "sand paper tongue". He gave me a snake for free once (that I then in turn gave to someone else because I could not keep it at the time)....this is when I believed all he had was a "sand paper tongue". Since then, I have seen vile and vicious words spewed from him for no other reason than he was mildly tweaked at something someone said.

I would not take another snake from him, no matter how beautiful, no matter how free. Nor would I recommend that anyone do business with him. He can be all friendly and charming for a while...but he can (and will) turn on you in a heartbeat, without even serious provocation. (Not that even the worst provocation would excuse some of the things he has done....but at least it would be a tad more understandable)

There are far too many people in this business who ALSO have beautiful, healthy collections AND they do not behave like schitzo psychopaths.

It's ok. I know the reason he said what he did is to hurt me. Really, it didn't, it just made me feel sorry for him a little bit. What hell it must be to go through life like that, being so full of hate.
