    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

But your opinion on what is reasonable isn't universal .But for myself and many others mocking a mother about her dead child is something i would never tolerate and would not want to deal with the person and i know im not alone . While you are fine to deal with the person that is your morals not mine .

Shawn, he didn't just go off on me or cuss me out. The guy was making fun of my son's death. He thinks it's funny. Buy snakes from him, do deals with him, whatever, but at least admit that he is a piece of crap for saying what he did. Stop for a minute and think about how you would feel about him had he said what he did to your mother, your sister, your best friend. I wouldn't judge anyone for dealing with him, but at least when people read this thread they can see what kind of "man" he is.

and no i just don't let other peoples personal stuff (unrelated to reptiles) stop me from making a living ..

Not looking to convert anyone over anything . if you chose to do business with such people that's on you and does not effect me in the slightest.like you stated its a choice to make, I am just stating what you seem to be saying in my opinion . but yea business is business and I chose to not do so with people like Jas and associates.

It's fine... you put more value on monetary business deals than personal ethics and morals. On the other hand, I tend to think if someone's personal ethics are questionable, then that means their business ethics usually are as well. In my opinion, ethics are ethics, whether business or personal, and someone either has them or they don't.

That's all there is to it.

my business ethics and morals are just fine thanks . ask my customers and people i have done business with over the past 12+ years . and yes i place making money over other peoples personal (unrelated to reptile) issues , just for the fact that yours or anyone's elses personal issues aren't going to feed my family or pay the bills ..
i feel for your loss Keli , i do , theres nothing worse then losing a child ..

Seems our hero here JAs has posted a thread to clear his name and explain his side , He started by admitting of making fun of kelli just as described here to the Tee.Then goes off and curses me out . way to defend himself indeed.

I think you misunderstood me, or maybe I didn't explain it properly. I meant that you separate a person's business ethics and personal ethics. I see ethics as ethics, whether personal or business. I did not question your own morals or ethics at all.

You know I like you, but you sound like one of those folks who come on here and say, "Well I've never had any problems. I'll keep buying from **** until he screws me over too.". While I have little doubt about your business ethics, I would equate dealing with him as condoning his actions, and therefore could never do it.

I think the bottom line is this: When one's very negative public actions have no negative repercussions, we as a community might as well give him a pat on the back. Ethics are ethics, and if we remain silent on these things, we are doomed as a people. How many people trust politicians? We just kept on allowing them to get away with more and more, and now corruption is expected.

I've met Jas. I've chatted with him once in person, and several times on-line. After this whole thing, I'm kind of glad I don't do BP's....he's got no reason to stop by my table at White Plains now. I'd rather not even talk to the guy, let alone buy from him. He's one association I don't need. I do hope he is following this thread and reads this....if anyone can benefit from my signature, he can.

I'll tell you why. Because of personal attacks they have made against myself on that site they are just not welcome to have their name mentioned here nor be PROMOTED in any way on this site. If you have a problem with that decision, the place to bring it up is in the feedback forum, NOT the BOI. Any further discussion of it here will earn an infraction for OFF TOPIC posting.
