In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Kimberly Lucas Gorgeousgecko.com con artist!!

If its truly genetic... He could have bred the gene out. Such a loss to rule out an entire line of pinstripes due to spare toes.

I can think of many health related issues to not breed an animal, but a spare toe. Such a waste.

Will

It wasn't even a toe, barely a "nub", but - and God knows I love them - the Canadian rhac society seems to be a bit on the delicate side.

The worst TOS I've ever seen...
Posting details of the transaction, problem, or claim, on any public forum or web site is a direct violation of this policy and will result in the
immediate and unconditional void of our guarantee.

That just shows me that they intend on screwing you before the deal is ever done. Why else would you have that. Oh I know.... So you wont go telling folks how crappy they are. :shootfoot

Part of the returns policy:
If an animal arrives in bad shape or DOA, we will require proof, in the form of the deceased, injured, or sick animal being shipped back to us.
We may be able to accept digital pictures as a substitute, but we will decide this on a case by case basis.

Yet she said she would not accept the original animal being sent back? (its not like it was unhealthy, just not to the OP's standard of what had been advertised. So this seller contradicts herself, by claiming it was a "quarantine issue" yet in her returns policy, states sick animals can be shipped back?) And what gives with sending new animals out that are injured? WTF, would she refuse to have those sent back too?

and:
We do not ever under any circumstances give money back.
This just screams what they're in this for to begin with. Not living breathing beautiful animals, but the all-mighty "green frog skin".
(I suggest reading the "payment plan" as further evidence.)
Way too many double standards here, and everything I read stands to cover the sellers butt and only their butt. Way to provide customer service AND sell quality animals...Not.
I will avoid this seller like the bubonic plague.

Great points made here

"I will avoid this seller like the bubonic plague."
smart thinking ;)

I remember meeting Kim at a show back in 2009. Everything at her table was quality and I even got a gecko from her. Nothing was wrong with him at all.. I wonder what happened? :\

I don't think anyone is questioning the health of her animals, rather the way she conducts business.

I purchased a gecko from her at a reptile show that was a greyish pinstripe. She told me that he fires up to a black with a cream pinstripe and head but it turned out olive..still nice though.

Wow, another case of false advertising....:NoNo: All vendors, at shows, need to do to get their crestie to fire up right there on the spot is to put a warm wet papertowel in the deli cup and avoid bright display lighting.

Depending on the circumstances and availability, payment plans can sometimes be arranged for larger purchases of higher end ($400+)
animals. Here's how it works...You tell me what you can afford to do (how much down and how soon you can pay it off) and if I agree, it's a
deal. Your gecko will be fed and watered as usual, at no additional charge. The only catch is that you have to stick to the payment plan
exactly as you agreed to do. If you back out, miss a payment or cannot finish making the entire purchase as originally agreed upon, you will
forfeit all payments you've made and you will not get any sort of a refund. I will not send you payment reminders. It will be your sole
responsibility to make payments on time. All purchases final unless animal(s) are no longer available.

is it just me or if you are making payments on an animal you selected there should be no reason the animal(s) should no longer be available if she holding them for you and taking care of them like she's supposed to.

this lady seems like a real give me your hard earned cash so i can figure out a way to not give you what you payed for person to me.

Could be death, injury, or sickness............but she proved earlier in this thread that she has no problem sending out injured animals as replacements.

Does this look to anyone here like a gecko that could ever be called a "moonglow"?

You know...the sad thing is, that's an AWESOME example of a blushing Olive male, with an INCREDIBLE CREST!!

However, it certainly isn't worth $400, and it certainly isn't a Moon Glow.

I'd LIVE to get that boy into my collection, however. I don't buy from people who misrepresent their animals, so it will be a cold day in Hell before I buy anything from Gorgeous Geckos, as much as I may admire some of the animals.

They're far too rich for my blood...and NOT worth the price tag.

Even ACReptiles isn't that high for comparable morphs.

Hey Brian,

Now that the gecko has had a couple of weeks to settle in ( almost 5 months ) could you please post some updated pics of him fired and unfired and some of the replacement baby you received?
