well michael texted me and said he was out of town and would not be back until mid feb i ok but to keep in contact with me but i have tried calling and texting him and nothing im just waiting for him to give me and update

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I read the thread from start to finish.
My 2 cents as from my observations, you should surely think about this.
Sounds very much like he is "buying time" again as he realizes he may have finally messed with the wrong person as you will indeed pay him a visit -- hence him,
"Being out of Town"
Do not fall for it or delay....
He is probably right at the address posted so many times in this thread.
I also think if you opt not to "pay him a visit" as I would even if I had to get a plane ticket, you should indeed contact the authorities as this boy must have a decent criminal record meaning he is well known by the locale 5.0 by now.
I hate guys like this that ruin it for the rest of us Honest Individuals & pick on Woman to top it all off.
Once a thief/Liar/Cheat, always a THIEF/LIAR/CHEAT! Period.
He took Lady Venom's kindness for weakness and it is obvious.
Christ, HE "blackmailed" her in the end over her having a snake illegally in the wrong state when he knew she gave him such a good deal to start because she was indeed tying to be a law abiding citizen.
Can anyway say, taken advantage?

I been in the city all my life and not saying that makes me any more the street wise then anybody on here but the city equals more people which equals more scams to watch out for.
I usually do not like to get involved in these things but this time, I just had to put this out there for you to PONDER.

I would not take the advice in post #122.
If you are a decent and law-abiding person with a job, school, maybe a family, etc --- you can't go and jump on a plane to confront some criminal about snakes that are GONE.
A cornered and desperate criminal with experience in how to get thru life as a dirtbag is not going to respond to this approach the way a normal peron with some decency would. i.e., this will not be like confronting your cubicle neighbor over a missing ruler.
No offense Steve but you have to weigh the risks of confronting a criminal over something you are never going to get back against the loss of just a snake.
Keep your life and your clean police record and forget confronting the scammer.

Gabino, have you tried to call his local police station? Not 911 but the actual building, so you can see if he has a police record? I wouldn't do a face to face with him unless he approves, that might get a little ugly. It wouldn't be worth it, as Peter said.

well guys im not from a big city by no means but i usually like to trust in people but get scammed out of a couple thousand dollars worth of snakes will not happen. I am a law abidding citizen and im also a spec ops military member so im going to give him his time because no matter where he goes i can find him and finding him will not be a problem. I am not one to cause any problems but if need be i can handle my own and then some. Micheal if you do read this i am letting you know you better keep you word contact me and let me know everything is on the up.If I have to make a trip down there will I i promise i will not waste diesel for nothing and dont take this as a threat becauseit is not one its a statement so just do whats right and we can all just get over this misunderstanding.

It's the last thing that they expect to happen, and most bad guys count on the fact that very few of us will travel like that on a moments notice.
That being said, you can't just show up guns blazing, you have to be smart about it. Print what proof you have, and take it to the local PD and try to get them to escort you to get your property. I have yet to have them deny me an escort if you present enough proof. They may not see it as enough to press charges, but it may be enough for them to assist you, especially when you tell them you've traveled across country.

And the key to this is..... BE PROFESSIONAL. Dont go into the PD with guns blazing either. Present your case.... and ask if they would be able to give up just a little of their time to help you.

thank you guys and i will i have a written contract that we both signed and of course i will be professional and written i really dont want to this to go wrong im sure this is just a big misunderstanding and im sure a face to face we can resolve everything with the proper escort i just want this to be over with and once again thanks guy for the advice.
