In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy a4strick, Sydney Michelle Strickling, terrible chameleon transaction

WOW, i jjust read this entire thread an im disgusted i dont even know where to start THATS NOT A NOSY FALY MALE, both sick.. im glad you got your money bk. an shes another to add to the growing list of dishonest people not to do business with..

I agree she needs to pay the full price back plus shipping costs to return them to her, but the vet care as well? that might be a bit unreasonable unless she agreed to you taking them in beforehand (assuming she did not based on what has been posted). If she does cover those expensenses, then it would reflect better on her of course to TRY to show she cares about the animals in question. (just my opinion)

It's not unreasonable because the injuries and lack of health was BECAUSE of the way they were shipped and improper care before they were shipped, so the buyer shouldn't be forced to pay the vet bill to bring the animals back to a state of health when she had nothing to do with the illness to begin with.

Agreed, that would be like the seller getting full vet care and treatment to bring them back to health for free and then getting the animals back to sell all over again on top of it. No way should the buyer be responsible for the vet costs of saving them and brining them back to good health.

wow none of you actually know anything about me or my husband so nice guesses but keep guessing im higher up than the military

Not for nothing, but if you were higher up than the military, something OTHER than this thread would populate when google searched. :shrug01:

wow none of you actually know anything about me or my husband so nice guesses but keep guessing im higher up than the military

I'll probably pay for this, but......

You have been shown to be deceitful, if not an outright liar. Several times throughout this thread you have shown that you are immature, unprofessional, and selfish.

You, Mrs. Strickling, are NOT 'higher up than the military'. How dare you?! Get off your horse, pay paypal back, and go away quietly into the night. Disgusting.

Sydney, no one cares about you in "real life" what you do, or how you raise your kids.

You are posting on a Reptile selling website. Here people care about how you SELL REPTILES.

You come off as a lowlife scammer, who "rescues" animals and turns them over in a month for a quick wad of cash ($800 is more than a quick buck).

As long as Amy gets/got/has her money back, I think things should be settled.

I wouldn't send those chams back, and I don't advise that Amy does either. Two rescued, non-specific locale chameleons should be her consolation prize for dealing with all this bullsh!t. Thank god for calling the bank eh? Since you couldn't handle this like an adult, Sydney.

Take some freaking RESPONSIBILITY for your actions why don't you? Its not my fault they're sick, its my friends, its not my fault she's burnt, it was the shipping, is not my FAULT that 25g female was bred, its my kids, its not my fault she doesn't have her money, its because I'm moving.

What IS your fault? Eh?

I hope no one ever does business with this woman again.

We know that at least one of you is a thief, liar, scammer, flipper and somewhat if not completely delusional.

I hope your husband just doesn't know the real you and is a good person. poor guy.

wow what a mess i feel bad for the op but i feel worse for Sydney for believing her own lies what a mess. Sydney do the right thing give the OP her money back.

I just skimmed the whole thread and I am sorry you have to deal with all this B.S. and all the lies.

That definitely is a WC male Nosy Faly, on the other hand there really is no way of knowing what type the female is until breeding her and seeing what the offspring look like.

I personally believe that through all the lies and deception either she personally bought both chams as a 1.1 WC pair and realized she couldn't take care of them when it was too late and they were going down hill so she sold them (making a quick buck) because since they are WC she probably got a good deal on them and left you to take care of sick chameleons.

OR

Her "friend" purchased them and gave them to her to sell after they noticed the chams we going downhill

Either way you look at it she is full of lies therefore you don't know what to believe from the story all the way down to the local of the chameleons. Best of luck solving this situation and like many have stated go for a full refund because you were sold something completely different to what was advertised!

Trevor Rizzuto

Thats NOT a nosy faly male bro. What in that pic makes you say Faly? Because it looks anything but Faly to a trained eye.

And congrats Amy, good work calling the bank and not letting this situation go. Thats another tactic of the scammer, stall until the buyer loses interest and gives up. Way to go, maybe she learned her lesson on how to be a good seller.

I say eat the vet costs and keep the animals myself.

But then again, I get sorta testicular when people try and screw me over. :shrug01:

If she pays Paypal back (and shipping back & vet cost), can I legally keep the 2 chams?

wow none of you actually know anything about me or my husband so nice guesses but keep guessing im higher up than the military

not if its not ment to be found

You are so high up, you should hire a secretary to write for you and to lie for you.

Extra Terrestrial in the UFO protection program?

Chad, you are too funny!

Thanks everyone! I hope the 2 chams will recover, I will do my best.

If you accept money for vet costs and return shipping you should obviously ship them back to her.

I would accept shipping and vet cost only if she wants them back. If she does pay paypal back $800, can I still keep them legally?

If you don't get reimbursed for every penny you've spent there's no way I'd send them back. I'm no law expert but as many lies as she's told she'd be a fool to take you to court. How much have you spent on vet costs so far?
