In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Reptile Asylum : Chris Young

What an outstanding example of parenthood we are witnessing....

As I mentioned before, the acorn certainly doesn't fall far from the tree.

You know its funny, I just went and read the original ad. Nobody was mean or abusive. People were just informing the seller that the genetics for the animal pictured were incorrect.

Dennis, you still have access to the original ad although it was deleted? Can you please post it on here for people who didn't see it the first time? Although I think we're beyond the need to prove that Reptile Asylum is a Bad Guy at this point, it's still nice to have all the evidence in one place.

I don't know if another moderator made the decision on closing that are not, I will need to check but first I'm looking into a couple of things.

Let me add that the one person he liked on his facebook account also belongs to him.

Indiana Herpetoculture Rescue and Education Center
Our herps and exotics are not pets, not projects, but a spititual guidence. Respect for these animals should be kept highly as their physical power is as great as their bueauty and what we will never be able to understand about them.

Reptiles have always been our passion and we hate to see any type of herp go without a home. We take in all types of herpsand exotics and make sure that they are happy and healthy. Just like if it were a humain society, we find the animals a new loving home for very small adoption fees that help us pay for the expenses to care for the animals. We run almost completely on donation and we only do it to give the some of the most misunderstood animals another chance.

So let me get this straight. You are running a so called "Rescue Center" on one page saying your animals aren't projects and on the other page for your business you are stating you are looking for projects and only have high quality animals.

Let me tell you what it appears you are doing. You are asking for donations on one page and taking in free animals. On the next page your pretending to be a high quality breeder selling the odds and ends you are getting from the other page. Close?

Seems you all are a bunch of ...

Nope - I banned that account shortly after it was registered...it didn't even get to the approval process.

Seems he got a little browsing in beforehand.

Hey Adie, I don't know why this guy is stalking you but I have is phone and address if you need it.

I was away for a day and missed all the action :argue:

Have we even confirmed that there are 'parents' or 'adults' involved? It sounds like one person with 10 different names.

Wow, sad that people like that choose to reproduce IMO. What terrible examples of parenting for that kid. This thread is a mess. Give someone enough rope...

My abs are getting a great workout....

Wow, really? This is how parents act when their child is caught with their hand in the cookie jar, so to speak? This is pathetic, If I was acting like that when I was 15, my mom and dad would have been the first ones to call me out, whip my :censored: then march me (figuratively) to everyone I wronged to apologize. I mean really?

I really hope this doesn't give some of us who love this hobby/business in Indianapolis a bad name.. This is just :censored: me off to the extreme.. Some people AND their kids.. come on, grow up and take responsibility for your son and correct his punk attitude..

my 2 cents.

Unforunately, the parents attitudes are worse. They all seem to think that this is okay behavior.

Thats what I can't understand.. Why would you condone your child's behavior, first of all.. The misrepresentation of the animal. Then turn around and act even worse than your child has. In my book, that is the worst kind of parenting. You are setting your kid up for a world of trouble when he comes an adult. If you think your child isn't old enough to handle the responsibility of posting on a business/hobby forums in a professional, or heck, even mature manner, then why in the :censored: would you allow them to be their own "business" owner. Sure.. a kid can smile all sweetly and innocently at a show and sucker people into their animals, but then for them to come to a place like this, where they could have made an AMAZING name for themselves, and act like they are a 4 year old? good grief, my next door neighbor's demon child has more manners at 4 than this child and his parents combined at this point..

It trully makes me sad to think that someone who could have been an amazing example of a child/teenager hobbiest/business owner, chose this path.. -Smh-

Wow! What a bunch of clowns. I think the parents are acting worse then the kid is. No one was even being rude to start with, all they wanted to know was if the kid made a mistake by misrepresenting the geckos and then these clowns get an attitude and showed how parents are not supposed to act. Talk about being immature. Geeze, if my parents acted like that when I was 15, I would have moved out. How embarrassing. Grow up dudes.

I was going to do screen shots but I really don't have time today. Someone else wants to do them feel free.

Just because they are deleted doesn't mean they are gone. Nothing is ever gone online.

Then the nastiness began.
