In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Scammed by Reptile Addictions/Wendy Childs

I won the claim with paypal but then she appeals it
Please show the note she sent to Paypal as to why she is allegedly appealling. It seems like you have your money and she has her critters, why are y'all just not walking away from each other?

We tryed to appease the customer sent you $100 back due to my delay for medical reasons. .

Why are you trying to get these funds back? There WAS a delay, whatever happens ultimately with the transaction, if this was a payment to the buyer for his inconvenience, and there was a delay, why should he return it?

I am not supposed to be up doing this crap. I am supposed to be in bed. NONE of you would be doing this

On the one hand, you are saying your illness is the reason for the sale. On the other, here you are, on the BOI, posting away.

I am not understanding, so help me out here. You have the critters, your buyer has his money back, and you could be in bed resting. Are you in fact appealling the reversal?

I said letter meant message. Does the form of delivery really matter? You asked me to post it then you question the authenticity of it.

My only intent for this entire post was to warn people. I have already received my money back and I'm not trying to persuade people in my favor. Again, this was purely meant as a warning.

I feel your pain OP. I posted a thread in the BOI a few weeks ago about a deal I got screwed on and certain members aggressively questioned me (with a negative tone - insinuating I did something wrong).

This whole thing is quite simple - you have proof you sent payment, does the seller have proof they were shipped? If not the seller should return the money to the OP.

This crap of scare tactics and bullying are nothing more than a desperate attempt to get you to be quiet - DON'T DO IT!!!!

Good luck getting your money; however it's often difficult to get money from a person or business who does business this way. I would recommend investigating small claims court.

As Lucille stated, it appears that the OP had/has his money back so...:shrug01:...and he still hasn't posted the headers of those emails (screenshot) we may be waiting on a Mod to post those?

But to address the bolded part of your statement above: Unless "everyone" puts up all their proof at the same time that they post and that proof, after examination, proves to be incontestable...EVERYONE gets aggressively questioned. Especially people that can't put up the information requested when it's requested (because we have had examples of posters taking the time to either manufacture evidence or tweak evidence that they do have).

The OP has been asked several times to put up headers to the email(s) he posted. IMO, posting a picture of a form does not constitute "proof." Personally, I would need to see the envelope that it came in with the address or stamp (showing origin) for that form to be able to stand as proof that it was sent by Wendy. MANY times the one starting a BOI has proven to be the guilty party, or at least has some responsibility for the reason their transaction went south.

Finally, even though Wendy has a less than sterling reputation, anyone posting on the BOI regarding a bad or iffy transaction, still would be better served to have all their ducks in a row and not have to be constantly badgered to show some straight evidence to back up their words. This would hold true even if he took the matter to Claims Court.

Now, Wendy has also been caught in a conflict in her story..so I'm going to sit back and let this play out. Even I may learn something. :)

Agreed, involved in a conflict like this should have (and post) proper documentation of all events.

What conflict in story???

Let me make this CLEAR.

Am I sick? Yes. do you need more proof? I CAN spend time on the internet, I can do that at home in bed. What I can not do is let lies get me upset.

At sale the chameleons were 4 weeks old (he is the one who lied and said 6 weeks on his sale ad)

Rochelle sent a usps money order Certified 70111570000180517653 It was address and made out from Reptile Addictions. He signed for it. She stated that she used some random form at the post office station to wrap the MO in so it wasnt seen in the envelope.

I stated in my email that he could send it to paypal. Just to make it easy to return my money........

He was given $100 in an attempt to shut him up. What else would she do? She has a lunatic customer texting every 5 minutes. She had hoped he would quiet down. It wasnt Rochelles fought that his temps were 100 degrees. It was an attempt to appear a unpleasing customer. That was a Refund of $100 out of the $1500. Hence i would still need the $1400 for him to keep it.
He has $100 IN TOP OF a FULL REFUND. Or you kidding?????? He technically owes me a non refundable deposit..... I was letting that pass to get rid of him. But he isnt getting $100 of my money.

ANY TOS has a Lets look at some sites.............

SCREAMELEONS "Deposits and Pre-Orders
Deposits and payments received from pre-orders are non-refundable. The balance must be paid in full on the previously agreed upon shipment date or any day prior to that. "

HHMOORE- Has a 25% non refundable deposit, and a no shipping at extreme temps- per at his discretion........

UNDERGROUND REPTILES - * Underground Reptiles has a no refund policy. However we will offer store credit.

We can do this all day long.

He accepted TOS,. and received and accepted an invoice that says no refund no return.

I have posted ALL the proof that everything he said is a lie.

That he is a thief, he steals pictures, sells animals he doesnt even posses, tries to remove items online in order to lie more, lied about his temperatures to make up a lie about shipping, lied about paypal refund to make himself look better, has a serious issue with buyers remorse.

Hey Wendy, I understand your version of events and his. All it really comes down to is what is posted in the paypal dispute. That's one screen shot as to why the paypal transaction is being contested.

He says you told paypal that you sent the animals and you are using the tracking number from the $100 check to state you shipped the animals. He states the $100 check was not in the envelope.

He states paypal gave him back the funds and the envelope was empty.

You state you gave him a $100 in that envelope and he got his paypal payment back so he has $100 more back than he paid.

You state you never shipped and he states here you never shipped. Except he posted on this forum that you told paypal that you shipped the animals in the dispute.

So all we need is a screen shot of that dispute. Why can't either of you put it up now?

That is the easiest thing to put up to prove who isn't telling the whole story.

No assumption made on my part of is is telling the truth. Just put the darn paypal dispute up so we can see it.

Brandon, You have your funds back as you stated. You state the envelope was empty. While there is no way we can know that is the truth without just tacking your word for it, we would know the truth about what was stated to paypal if you would just show where she stated she shipped the animals.

Come on guys! What is the problem?

We tryed to appease the customer sent you $100 back due to my delay for medical reasons.

You GAVE him $100. It was not a refund, it was given for delays. No matter what happens, this money is his, you gave it to him. There was, in fact, delay.

Don't run off plucking other people's TOS. What does YOUR TOS say? Obviously nothing, or you would be posting it.

You are avoiding the question of whether you are appealling the Paypal decision.

If you think the $100 was ill advised, you cannot retrieve it from your buyer, as it was clearly a gift. You must look to Rochelle for payment.

Lucille, she states she took a 100.00 off the order because of the delay. He states she said she was sending a hundred back because of the delay. If paypal did give him his full refund back, Why would he be titled to a extra hundred dollars for a transaction that didn't take place? Nobody is going to give a hundred dollars away to not do business.
It is clearly posted and understood by both parties that she was refunding a hundred back for the delay not giving an extra 100 bucks and returning full payment. The only point of contention is if there was a hundred in that envelope.

Thank you Dennis- seems I wasnt getting my point right. Well stated.

My TOS are posted here on the invoice. I POSTED IT - "No refunds No Returns"

The Paypal IS POSTED - I posted all that there is of it. It wasnt deliberated. He said he didnt recieve it, and the box was checked that it wasnt shipped. There is nothing else to post. I posted all that there is in paypal. Look at it. History- Details- its there.

Let me address the exact text that was given about the $100 (It was not something he knew about or expected, she did it then texted after).

"You have a postal money order for a refund for your troubles on the way via certified. 70111570000180517653 I know how it gets exciting to get something new. I like instant gratification too. As soon as the temps are good they will be on the way. How are the temps looking? For next week?"

What is on the site is :

RETURN POLICY: Refunds/exchanges are made on a case-by-case basis at my discretion.

NO REFUNDS give on deposits.

Please report any problems to me immediately, and I will make every effort to solve them with you.

No return will be considered after 3 days of purchase.

PAYMENT: I accept direct credit cards in store, paypal, certified checks or money orders.

Don’t hesitate to ask any other questions you may have.

What the invoices say are :
"No Return No Refund"

Why would he be titled to a extra hundred dollars for a transaction that didn't take place?

For his troubles, for the aggravation and delay. For possible missed opportunities he might have had, had he used the money during the delay time for other purchases.

I see things from your point, but mine remains, that by whatever name you call it, if you send someone something 'for their troubles', they HAD troubles, and the something is theirs by way of compensation.

I'm talking about what was posted in the dispute console by both. Not the payment history.

But that was before he received a refund of the full amount and that the transaction was still going to continue.

All posts about a $100 refund are irrelevant being I never got any refund. So many posts about a refund that never existed is becoming humorous.

Wendy...the screenshot of your emailed pictures clearly shows my invoice was attached, yet you say you sent me pictures before I paid??? With posting all your screenshots why don't you post one of the dispute??? Maybe because you never sent any facts/proof to paypal like I did. You called in to paypal so no info can be shown. You were trying to cover your tracks. You have done this before. The only thing you provided to paypal was a tracking number of an envelope you sent containing the form I posted a picture of.

I'm done wasting my time. I already know I helped someone from being scammed by you and that was my only goal.

This is the only part of that stack of medical papers that are simple here....................

YES, My friends and family made a decision when I went into the hospital to remove a large part of my personal collection. They were not able to run a 7000 sq ft store with 1000 plus animals and my collection too.

These 2 things are my babies - not to be a burden for someone else. It was the right decision to make.
