If you were paid for the cagesd from someone else and Reti-Racks is shipping them to this new person, why are you still involved?
It appears to me that you took the buyers money and are now doing a chargeback on the original order. That is screwing 2 people over.
When you made the deal to sell the order to someone else, you should have walked away. Now Repti-Racks is getting a chargeback to deal with and your buyer has to now hope you refund him and he has to go somewhere else for cages and wait all over again.

are you crazy? he still owes the cage he got paid for.....you mean to tell me that for all the pet stores out there that purchase animals for people (special order) are no longer entitled to receive the product because they are no longer the rightfull owner of the animal....that is absolutely ridiculous....Zero logic behind that though process. And to even bring up a contract being drafted is absurd also....Why is it that some people insist on making things more complicated than they have to....A contract! That is the most impractical thing I've heard in quite a while.....Guess I'll go buy a bearded dragon from Petsmart and have a contract signed to ensure that the wholesaler will send it directly to me vice Petsmart.......C'mon, lets not check common sense at the door when logging on to Fauna.....I doubt many of you are business owners with logic like that.
OP: This is what you get when posting a comment on fauna, you get the fan-club of someone chiming in without any logic. While I admit that everyone is entitled to their opinion but common sense shouldnt be left out of it.
Speaking of logic and common sense, you completely lack any in this case. I never reply to these threads, but i do read them so i wont get the shaft from people, kinda like googling a company's name and scam together before you buy from them and give them your cc info. How in the world is Repti Racks supposed to give a refund to someone who transferred his order to someone else, that makes absolutely no sense. I have to say that you and the OP are totally wrong and should just let ReptiRacks get on with their business.
Trying to inaccurtely simplify the matter by comparing it to a petstore doesn't even make sense, just as telling them to issue a refund doesn't make any sense eitherA Contract as you so put it is a legal document required by law to protect both parties when completing any transaction, don't see your point on that either man... I wish the world was really that simple where contracts weren't needed, but unfortunately its a doggy dog world and many shady people out their trying to steal what others work so hard to aquire. I just hate to see a person slander another person or company with absolutely no proof and accusing members of having no common sense, when they can't even manage to form a decent argument. see i don't want the cage at all,all i want is proof that it was built and tracking info which i was told i would be given
the reason i am asking for proof of the build is because he tried to rip nick off the first time on the size trying to charge him extra even tho a 4 ft was already paid for,sure it is nicks problem but i spent money and i don't want nick or anyone being ripped off for something that was already paid off in full by me,so i want to make sure nick is getting everything i paid for regardless of me getting it or now
and the refund?it was 313.00 that was total like i said before if he wanted to refund which he won't he can glady give nick 200 and me the rest vice versa but he won't refund or anything as i tried this back when he delayed the 20th on me.
I see no proof of this... And dude i dont know where you live, but companies don't give partial refunds to customers who make side transactions on their products, your are being unreasonable. This is Nick's problem, he should have ordered it himself, I have a hard time getting what i paid for when i order it myself, let alone if i had someone else do it for me. Delay's are nothing new, if you would of did research you would of known that this happens with not only them, but many other companies. Really man, go have a drink, smoke something or do whatever it is that you do and just sit back and think of this from a logical perspective. You sound very young and your arguments really have no basis, im always on the side of the customer, but I see nothing here that warrants this thread.
Nick don't want a refund he wants the cage he bought from you which is being sent to him now and is baffeled why you thinking it should go to you for you to re sell it and was far from his mind i was told when talking to him which took over a month for him to get back with me after many e-mails i sent to him for a shipping address and confirm. quote from nick "my computer was not working and i forgot about it with the new baby" . I don't have to prove anything to you. its between me and nick who just got in contact with me mon and its going to him.

So even though Nick and Repti-Racks were in communication together and working out the details, both moving along with the deal:
