Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just for the record, the ad was deleted before I got to it. The "15 inches straight line" and the fact that it was "Near Miami" really stuck out. I'm not accusing you Joe, just asking and looking to find some of what happened.
 
I believe the ad should've read: "Breeding size leopard tortoise". If you have never witnessed a breeding from this tortoise then the ad could be construed as misleading or false advertisement. It's hard to pass judgement or understand your situation completely without the said e-mails.
 
Hello to everyone....

To give everyone an update. My computer crashed about 2 weeks ago, I use Mozilla thunderbird as an email and all emails are stored on your computers hard drive. I purchased a new computer and the old drive is being worked on by a recovery specialist. I will post all emails and a copy of the evidence I submitted to KS once I am able to. Until then, there is nothing else to post. After I post them, maybe Lucielle could cut me some slack, as her last post was a bit hostile. I will update this thread in the days to come. Thank you. Joe....

Untrue. I use Thunderbird for 8 accounts. Your emails are still in your original account box. Thunderbird is simply a checking application to monitor all your accounts at once.

False. The hard copy is always stored on the Receiving parties Servers ie, yahoo,gmail,msn,comcast and so on.

I use thunderbird, have since day it launched. My emails are downloaded as a COPY to thunderbird where the original is still in my Gmail account marked as READ.

Actually that is false. I use thunderbird and have it set to delete the messages from the server as soon as I download them via pop3. It's an option under account settings -> server settings you just uncheck the box that says Leave Messages on Server. I have always ran thunderbird like this to save space on my email servers. -Rory Rygiewicz

Again False, Once downloaded pop3 You can have it set to say in the inbox and marked read, unread or sent to Trash. But it is never deleted unless quota is reached. I have over 10k emails in my trash from years ago. I just never toss anything unless needed to.

Should say Its never deleted unless quota is reached or User manually Empties Trash.

Hey guys. I wish that was true. I would have already posted all the emails and a copy of the ad! When I purchased the new computer I had to reinstall Mozilla to my new computer! After I installed it, nothing was there! Nothing in the INBOX, OUTBOX, Deleted, or any Folders that I created. Completely empty. Again, I have someone workng on it and will show the emails I sent to Jeff and a copy of the ad on backpage. Is there a possibility I can't recover the information, I would have to say yes. It depends on how damaged the hard drive was. I will update accordingly....

Lucille.... about a nine on the tension scale. have some wine!
