In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Thomas Dorn - aeterrabyte

Gorgeous HEALTHY snake. What ever he was doing Exaggerated her Spider wobble. With time in a few weeks you will notice little wobble until feeding.

Nothing wrong with that snake but what he did to her.

Oh I'm so glad she made it back. She's precious! The wobble isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I wish I had one like her.

I see an alert, active, healthy, beautiful snake. I'm not into BP but that is a beautiful snake. I do not see anything at all wrong with her. That just proves to me that what ever happened to her before was HIS fault and that the whole vet trip was a scam. If I was into BP I would not hesitate to buy an animal from you.

I am also glad to see you got her back safe & sound.....I don't see a single thing wrong with that snake other than being a *tiny* bit underweight (no doubt a result of Thomas' poor husbandry skills).

Here are the emails he sent me today:

The first at 1:46 PM
I hope you accept it and look after her while the review process happens. I think when you see her you will see that she is healthy besides the issues I described. I would like you to go to the hub and pick her up.

Your advertisement has a 30 day return policy. I contacted you within that time frame to initiate the return. I just want to let you know I am operating within the terms of the agreement I paid for. If you don't accept yellow back you are not following your own terms.

And the second at 5:09 PM
You know I am really sorry about this, and the mess it has caused. I know I may have pissed you off by bring paypal into it in the beginning. But then you definitely crossed the line with me by starting that thread. I don't care what happens on fauna on a regular basis. Those are not my rules. My rules are for privacy. I don't want my address online. You can see my public address is different for a reason. That was one of the things that really pissed me off. As you can probably see by now, the snake is not as bad as you think she was. All of you assumptions were wrong. I don't know if it was just an act to keep my money of if you really believed that.

Like I said I feel bad for what we both had to go though, and the snake, so I apologize if you feel i insulted you in anyway.

The reason I thought she was coming tomorrow (Wednesday), from that other thread..
Rob your getting the snake back on wednesday

And me, repeatedly:
1. If the snake is healthy and you are dissatisfied, I will refund the purchase price upon return of her to me (at your expense).

2. If the snake is sick, was sick, has been sick, I will refund your money and pay for return shipping.

Seems like those bits I colored in, above, are admitting buyer's remorse, no?

She is really a nice looking snake. I was not expecting much worse, as Thomas does not seem too knowledgeable when it comes to the morph. Have you tried feeding? I'm real curious as to how she strikes. She's no worse than any of my spider morphs. Likely better than a couple too.

Clear case of buyer's remorse.

She looks like she is going to be just fine in long run.

I'm glad he did not kill her with the tubing and constant flipping. Awesome to see her back in your care and not his. Based on his behavior and actions in this thread, I would not trust him to raise a pet rock.

Like I said I feel bad for what we both had to go though, and the snake, so I apologize if you feel i insulted you in anyway.

It was all crap you started and caused Thomas. Attempting to slander Rob was a low blow and an act of cowardice. Your actions could have cost an animal it's life. That is the most worthless apology I have ever read.

For the record, "I apologize if you feel I insulted you..." is a complete non-apology.

There was clear intent to insult in countless posts, so apologizing "if" Rob "feels" he was insulted is disingenuous at best. He was deliberately insulted by Mr. Dorn, and Mr. Dorn should apologize without any qualifiers or "if" you "feel" statements.

I would have preferred to see "I apologize for insulting you." Because that's what happened.

Am so glad to see that "Yellow", or guess I should say "Lucky" ;) , is with you, Rob!
She, of course, is exhibiting a bit of neurological issue, from the Spider gene, but sure appears ~healthy~, able to get around fine, etc. She also looks so much better, than when Thomas had taken his video/s, and can only continue to go uphill in your hands.

Well, Yellow made it back today. I was expecting her tomorrow, but she's okay. In all fairness, Thomas did a nice job with boxing and shipping her. He didn't mark the box, and I don't want this thread to become a debate about the merits/faults of marking a box. I am simply stating that the box wasn't marked.

I let her settle in for a few hours, then took a video that is posted here (click me). It's a bit boring, but Spielberg I ain't.

Without further trying to steer the direction of this, I would appreciate to know what others think of her. Please watch the video, and let us know here what you think.

Since she's back in my house, I am changing her name to my original suggestion, 'Lucky'.

I have been following this from the beginning and i'm so glad you finally got her back!! She looks active, healthy, alert, curious, a bit skinny for my tastes but definetly not anything thomas accused! She looks like your average healthy, GORGEOUS spider! IMO, I think tomas stressed her out really bad when he force fed her water and, not being familiar with the spider gene and proper snake care/husbandry, thought she was ill when she reacted by getting really dinky and kinda 'shutting down'. I definetly think thomas owes you a crapload of apologies and I will definetly not hesitate to buy from you in the future laterob!

It's also good o know i'm not the only one that carries on conversations with my snakes :D
