Everyone told their story , some irrelevant some constructive , but all in all she'll learn and truly understand what she did wrong none more if this persists.

Yeah, we're what's holding her back from that breakthrough of understanding. I don't think her current state of denial would be a bit different if less people had expressed their indignation. 'I only sicced the dogs on the guy, but I never told them to bite.' Get a grip.

I'm curious how many people that have posted in here have even done a SINGLE transaction with her?

I'm curious as to whether you're being intentionally dense, or is that simply how you are? No one needs to have bought from her to see this situation for what it is. It seem pretty obvious exactly which side your bread's buttered on. It'd seem that a bunch of objective, outside views are just a little more relevant than your own, in this situation.

Everyone who knows me is too afraid to post in here on my side because of how crazy this has gotten, and I don't blame them.

Oh, the irony. The bullies are only interested in playing when there's only one person to pick on, I guess. To some, nothing is more discouraging than a fair fight.

Please don't try to put the hush on people, if they have something to say, that is what this particular forum is designed for.
Many people might be outraged at what took place, there is not a specific number of people who are permitted to express their feelings about the situation.

I completely understand and in no way am i saying to put the hush on anyone ,but i'm saying when does it turn from a scolding into bullying ?

The point of this was to teach her that Bullying is wrong and to warn people about her and her business ethics . I think she got that and it seems people are pretty aware of Lynn Rafferty if they werent before just by searching her name or business name . Which is a great thing to be able to do (thanks FaunaClassifieds ). But the way you're teaching her not to bully someone is to bully her . Kind of seems counter productive. I'm just stating. I understand people who have had interactions with her to voice their opinions and if she messed someone over on a Business transaction completely understandable , but many of the posts arent that . I understand people being outraged at her bullying , but the soultion for that is to allow her to be bullied ? i just don't find it productive . Sorry

Okay, I've been holding back on posting since I saw this 3 posts into it... now it's 19 pages long, holy cow. I don't know Lynn, I've seen her posting on Gecko groups via Facebook and I've never added her as a friend... don't know why just never thought about it. I am, however, friends with a handful of her friends. I know some of them do have FC account so I am wondering why we havn't heard from the people who saw and emailed.

Lynn, if you could direct anyone towards this to help you out on stating that you wanted no hate mail it would help you a lot on this. As for this gecko mafia I keep hearing about, I find it rather funny. If any professional breeders were asked not to do business with a person I believe they'd ask for info on why and look into it themselves and not just take what someone says. Lynn I know you didn't say anything about them but someone who calls you a friend... and maybe vice versa... did and mentioned you in it.

I've read every post from page 1 to now, unless one is being posted while I'm typing this. When I read what you posted I was thinking what someone else did, that they just made it to try and copy you and keep the name from you. US and Canada are two different countries, regardless of the name they do not deal with the US (if I read everything right) so there shouldn't have been anything posted on Facebook till you personally talked to Bob. I'm not siding with ether of you, I'm just trying to see facts and say what I'm seeing so I am sorry if I didn't get everything. Half this stuff I read on my phone while at work on while out and about.

I also want to know if Andrew is aware that his name is being posted in this thread so he can come step up and say his side, if it's him or not and what he may or may not have said. This has gotten a bit farther then I really expected of this thread, I thought 5 pages maybe but wow I'm glad I followed from post one or I wouldn't have bothered to read this without wanting to buy or do business with Lynn.

I do agree the post on Facebook was uncalled for and childlike, what must have been said to Bob to bring him here too. Since he didn't save any emails I really would love to hear from some of the people who sent emails to know just what really was said from their POV and maybe they still have the sent email saved. It isn't something that is needed but it would help. We are all human and to be human is to make mistakes, I see you have taken responsibly to the emails sent and have said sorry for that but you're not taking responsibility to what was said in those emails. As I said, I know you said you posted not to sent hate mail but you can't control what people write or say. So since you admitted to having people email I'd like to see you apologize for what was said... or what may have been said if you know what was sent as we have no idea other then yours and Bob's words and they're not going to be agreeing.

This is just my two bits into this and I'm probably not going to post again, I just couldn't sit by and keep reading without posting my thoughts and what I was getting out of this. I'm not trying to bully or go after anyone, there are two sides to each story and I'm on nether's side I'm just a bystander. Also I am sorry if some of this doesn't make to much sense, I am posting right after a hard day of working outside. Thank you

Seriously ... this really IS starting to sound like a bunch of high school crap!

And with all due respect, it isn't about who knows who, or who's friends with who, or who's actually done business with Lynn. Because frankly ... who cares?

It's about Lynn's attempts to have her friends and "followers" send Bob emails and messages to persuade/intimidate him to change/alter/whatever his domain since she felt somehow entitled, having claimed to trademark the business name.

She's clearly shown her level of maturity, her ego and her self-righteous attitude. She clearly does not care what anyone thinks of her. Bob rightly posted his warning - readers will have no trouble figuring out who has crossed the line. Prospective buyers will likely (and rightly so) think long and hard before they buy.

Just imagine how she might react if there was a problem with a transaction!
She reminds me of a young beardie breeder/vendor who frequently was the subject of controversy and defiance - and seems to have faded quietly away. You other old friends here remember who I am thinking of?

Hi, My name is Michael Roberts im 23 and from the UK just outside London. I own a business/organisation that i setup a couple of months ago called Surrey Reptile and Amphibian Society.

I have a BSc (HONS) in animal science. I Specialised in reptiles and amphibs in my degree. I keep a corn snake and a collection of crested geckos.

I met lynn/eyelash exotics a couple months back through instagram i think from memory and i noticed that she was/is a well known crestie breeder. I contacted her because there isnt many morphs/high quality geckos over here in the UK and i know from research i did that eyelash exotics (lynns business) was a well known morph breeder.

I was specifically after high contrast/blonde geckos and i knew lynn bred them so i wanted to see if she would sell some to me. Unfortunately this did not result in anything as i didnt anticipate how expensive it would be to ship from the US to the UK so that was completely my doing and lack of further research.

I continued to learn and research about cresties and joined other forums and groups etc and learnt of other very good breeders. During this time i became a regular on eyelash exotics (Lynns business) posting pics/news helping other crestie owners whether it be setups or just general care etc. Further down the line i became admin on the group not to be confused with the page.

That was just background info - i want to be as clear and concise as i can so people can understand the whole situation. i apologise if this is long but i want this to be 100% factual. i also want to say that i put lynns business after Eyelash exotics as not to be confused with Bobbies Eyelash exotics.

I now would like to start this next bit by admitting and owning up to an error i made i saturday 26th january as i feel that Lynn is being harshly criticised for something that she did not do.

There is a 5/6 hour time difference between the UK/US so i do apologise now if timings seem to be a bit off. I hope you understand this and do not attack me for getting it wrong or saying thats not true because of the timings etc. i would also like to say that i do not have any proof of anything now because posts/comments have since been deleted and i truly cant remember exactly what i wrote/what was written.

So here goes.

On Saturday 26th January 2013 Lynn posted on her GROUP (not to be confused with the page) "business trademarked on a saturday countrywide boom"

I saw this and thought awesome, well done, congratulations etc

I then decided to google eyelash exotics and i found another eyelash exotics (bobbies business) now for the misunderstanding.

I miss interpreted countrywide as being world wide that was an honest mistake and a stupid one. So i then decided as a joke and a bit of banter to comment on lynns post the following (again i cant remember what i actually wrote and this was on the group not the page)

"AWESOME, does that now mean you can rinse anyone with your name? if so you better check this douche out. (And this is where i linked bobbies eyelash exotics) i hope you smash him"

Now obviously hindsight is a wonderful thing and i totally regret doing this however i will carry on.

I have never met/heard of/had any dealings with bobbie what so ever. My comment was a complete spur of the moment thing that i did without thinking of the consequences and what might unfold.

Anyway after i wrote this i didnt say/do anything else on the matter - i logged of facebook and went to bed - the next morning sunday i didnt check my phone and i went and did what i had planned for that day. i had no idea that anything happend until i got the following

I got a text from lynn saying shit has kicked off and i must have got that around 11pm GMT (london UK time) I came onto Fauna Classifieds (ive never seen or been on this forum and i only made an account yesterday so that i could read all that happened)

I said to lynn via text that i deeply apologise for what i had done and that i have pretty much started all of this by a really dumb ass comment on my behalf and that i should say something and defend her from what was said in this BOI.

She told me not to as at the time she was very angry/upset with what had happened (and she has every right to be) and that she thought i would make matters worse by standing up for her. So obviously i respected her wishes and didnt comment. i then went to bed.

I woke up this morning (monday 28th jan) and i went to work, i work 9-6pm, i did go on facebook a few times throughout the day but didnt check lynns eyelash exotic page. or check this forum.

I finished work went home had dinner then went out. I came back home at 11.15pm and then i got a text from lynn at 11.28pm saying that i need to check the BOI and that i should now explain the whole situation as people are really laying into her and it is ruining her business.

so thats what i did i have re read this whole BOI all 19 pages and i have fully stated my part in this and admitted liability.

Bobby if you are reading this i am so terribly sorry that my stupid, immature comment has fuelled what has happened. I truly didn't mean for any of this to happen or for any of this to hurt you or cause your business any harm. I hope you can accept my apology.

Lynn if you are reading this. Again from the bottom of my heart i am truly sorry for causing this much damage to your reputation. i truly did not mean for this to happen and to escalate into what it has done - i hope you can forgive me and that your name is cleared by my ommision to posting bobbies link on your group and stating that you should do something about it.

Everyone else that has read this BOI - i hope my admission helps clear things up on exactly what happened. ive tried to be as factual as i can and succinct as i can. I truly hope that you see Lynns eyelash exotics in a different light and that you do do business with her as she truly is an amazing crestie breeder.

The highlighted part is clearly suggesting that you have the power to sue, which, considering you 100% don't own a trademark and in my opinion are lying about even applying for one, is a complete lie. I also consider this suggestion a thinly veiled threat that if you were pushed far enough, you would and could sue, which as I just said, is a total lie.
