    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Yes, this has everything to do with the forum community no getting their way and absolutely nothing to do with any bad dealings by Dart Frog Wharehouse. There is no evidence they have sold sick frogs, delivered wrong frogs, or taken people's money. As a matter of fact, a member of DB posted about his positive experience buying from DFW and was immediately attacked.
While I do not agree with the made up names, or the cross breeds, I do support their right to do so. I think we have enough cool natural frogs that we don't need crossbreeds, and the made up names confuse things. But, to each their own.
I think the marketing, regardless of how strange brings more attention to the hobby which benefits everyone. Most hobbyists keep several species. DFW only sells a handful. Therefore, they will have to buy their other frogs from other sources.
And, while I believe DFW is indeed selling alot of frogs, they have a very limited customer base due to a limited selection of species. Unless they expand their business and start to breed alot more of the species available including pumilio and thumbnails, they will run out of customers.

After taking a quick stroll in the "lounge" at DB, I have to say that if I owned any of those frogs I wouldn't admit it and would be embarrassed to be part of that community. 3-10-2014, 5:20 p.m. A Despicable post suggesting that people stand around the Waschers' table at shows they attend and stear people away. That's nothing short of bullying tactics. Pathetic!
 
Of the DB forum community, yes. I agree 100%. Of the Dart Frog hobby as a whole. Not at all. The members of DB are only a percentage of the hobby. They don't like hearing that, but true.

Think about this Chris.....
If no one on DB wants to do business with Dillion, who is buying all their frogs? The rest of the hobby.

Oh, you should read the long section of the thread where they were going to sue DFW for not following their rules. And everyone was going to get protection orders and go to all the shows so DFW couldn't vend because of proximity to the protectee.

My bad. It's actually in the general discussion forum at DB, which can be viewed by anyone. If there is a problem at a show with regard to harassment, it could bite DB in the rear legally.

Should have known it wouldn't take long for Scott to show up. Scott is a pathological liar and still mad he got banned from DB that he goes around on every forum that will give him a voice crying about DB this, and DB that.

The new member that was run off was a shill for DFW, nothing more and came in guns blazing attacking the forum community and asked to be bashed. He came looking for a fight and got it. Had he actually done as you say he wouldn't have been attacked. More than likely just a troll. Sniffed him out and ran him off.

Scott would have you believe that he is just some poor maligned newbie who was run off simply for buying frogs from the Wascher's. This is simply untrue. People can and will read the thread and see that he handled his business poorly, attacked the community, and thusly got what he deserved.

I am well aware I like that post. Doesn't mean I agreed with every sentiment or suggestion expressed therein.

For a bunch of people who whined and complained about this being the BOI and a business forum and how the DB threads are irrelevant etc, you sure have taken quite an interest.
 
Actually Mr Petranoff, I am just fine not being tied to DB or Dart Den. It is well documented in the Justin Miller Blue Pumilio Bad guy thread why I was banned from DB. I myself brought it up. And in the end, Justin was finally banned from selling on DB 8 months later.
Now, If you have any proof that I lied about anything, post it up and provide facts. You seem to think everyone is a liar. Yet you have not shown any proof that Dillion and Rick lied to customers, so you owe us proof on myself and them. Was it not discussed to sue DFW? Sure was. How about orders of protection? Yep that was discussed too.
If the fact that I support their right to do as they wish makes me a whiner, so be it. Now, as for your facts and proof????????

Actually it isn't well documented, your claims and slander of Scott MacDonald however are. You me and everyone else knows you were banned for a violation of the forum rules. Quite a few people saw what you posted that was edited by a mod, lucky for you. Proof of that fact is inadmissible here, something you're probably well aware of, and is the only proof available, but since it's a cross post from a third party site with anonymity, I can't post it here without getting infracted.

I don't think everyone is a liar, but you are, that much I'm certain of.

I never said your statement about bringing legal action was a lie. Yes, of course it was brought up, and it was a stupid as hell idea that most people shot down. How convenient of you to leave that fact out though. Just a little lie of omission there.

You're someone who has an obvious agenda against DB and who will twist the facts in a failed attempt to make your case. I am however glad you've found this forum to embarrass yourself on as well.

Actually, I have no axe to grind with DB. There is some good old info there that is of benefit to newcomers to the hobby. Sadly, all the current focus is on rants about DFC then DFW. Pumilio (Doug) has alot of good ideas, and he shares them. The Sherman vent came from DB. Well, Sherman. But then he posted on DB. And that is what DB is for.

As to your proof that you can't post...I GIVE MY PERMISSION TO DOUG PETRANOFF TO POST SAID INFO FOR THE PROOF HE NEEDS.

Show that to a mod and post away. Because what I posted was the PM Scott sent me, demanding the name of the person I said Justin ripped off. Guess what? He ripped off a bunch more since. So there is my proof of what I stated about the mods protecting him
