Leave messages under his ads. Maybe he'll get the idea and make things right with you. At the least you would be warning others of this guy.

You can not leave messages about BOI matters on his classifieds. you can post a link back to this bad guy thread on his ads.

Peer pressure can indeed help Amy get the refund she deserves.

It's a shame John removed his Ads. Would have been nice to see what he said.
Continuing to ignore you is not going to make the problem go away and continues to reflect very poorly on him.
Also, his continuance, of mislabeling, adds to not trusting him &/or that the animals being sold, by him, are as he claims.
I sure won't do business, with him, and believe that people should tread with caution if they happen to decide to do business with him.
John has only himself to blame due to his own actions &/or inaction.

I think it's the & character in his name, sometimes search queries treat whatever comes after it as a parameter or a special character.

That is correct. Probably something to do with how MySQL works.

In any event, I have just now blocked the use of all special characters used in member names during registration. However those that currently exist will still continue to be a problem with searches. Nothing is going to be done about that, unfortunately, as trying to apply this rule retroactively would be quite a headache. Just trying to scan through all existing 95,000 members looking for special characters would be quite the chore, since obviously I couldn't do a SEARCH for them.

I purchased a red hypotension male from him. Ended up turning orange but the sex was right. I also asked him how much he weighed and he said he was around 30 grams and he was really 9 grams when I got him. Also he is a horrible flipper. Tried selling multiple dragons from other breeders.

He posted an ad up yesterday morning and on the quick reply he answered back to Killer Dragons and I also pretty much re-said everything I already have said. He answered back to "correct me" and when I plead for him to refund me because at this point I could not trust his word nor do I think I want to deal with another dragon from him, he took down the ad and has since ignored me.... :/

The funny thing about that ad it was call Andrea instead the usual reply to.

I guess his next move is to create a new user name. C'mon John you know you owe Amy so how about sending the refund she deserves.

I was contacted by Ron St. Pierre who is the actual breeder and producer of the baby I bought from John. Once he heard about the bad dealing I had with John Logston and how I still have nothing to show for the $400 I send John he has kindly offered to replace the dragon John owes me free of charge!! After talking with Ron's business partner Chris I found out that the poor baby we bought had been produced by Ron and bought by John who then flipped the baby and shipped it out to me within the same month he himself received it. John not only lied to me about the genetics of the dragon but also consiously shipped a young small baby twice in 1 month. No wonder the poor thing never adjust once we got it. I feel even more badly for that poor baby dragon knowing all the real facts then I did before! And I felt pretty bad. I don't know if John will see this post or not but all I have to say is I hope you get out of any kind of business that works with animals and people because your a lair and in my opinion abused an animal! You stole my money and then just thought you could get away with it. But after having made this public many others have come forward to shine the light on you as well and I'm glad to say you did it all to yourself John Logston by not being a mature individual and talking it out with your customer (me)when things went a stray.

What an outstanding breeder and such a kind offer!!!! I am happy you will be getting a replacement dragon due to Ron's generosity.

I agree with Lucille. That is such a kind, and generous, thing for Ron to do!!
Although this does let John off the hook (he still owes you), I am very glad that you (Amy) will be getting a new Beardie so that it is not a total loss (which it seems it would be with John).

I have no doubt it would have been if I was still waiting on John to get back to me. I believe he had no intention to ever talk with me again and just figured he would keep my money and get away with it. And even though he does still have my money I'm sure this thread is affecting him in a bad way business wise. I will post pictures of the new dragon when it arrives! Thank you everybody for getting involved with this thread and giving me your comments and support! I know I will keep an eye out for John's ads in the future and I hope you all do the same. So he does not continue to do the same things he has in the past and get away with it!

Well I got home yesterday and opened the box from Ron St. Pierre and can you believe he gave me 6 beautiful dragons! I got a wonderful 3.3 lot of all very colorful great gene animals. Good deeds like his gave me hope for the rest of the world! And that there are more people out there doing good then bad. It may not always be seen but its happening and I wanted everybody who has supported me through this to see that good deed too! I am still trying to work with the CC company to get our money back. Whether we do or don't I am happy with this outcome and now everybody else knows to stay away from John Logston so they don't go through the same mess I had to!

Oh my gosh yes Im very happy! And I told Ron the same thing I was happy thinking I would get 1 dragon but when I opened the box and saw 6 I was amazed! Such a nice thing to do.

Update!

I wanted to just give everybody a grand update! Paypal (through the CC company) has officially refunded us our $400!!!! I honestly thought that money was lost and never thought I would see a penny of it again so it was a nice surprise after all of the bad luck me and my family have been going through... I hope everybody has a nice day today and a great holiday season!

I think I clearly stated on here and to the customer I would send a replacement thank you guy Castro for your 2 cents

I want to point out that it was Paypal who sent the refund, not this seller, who has not even sent the replacement he promised.
