    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Raging reptiles site advertising viper boas and other snake's available. HE doesn't even have reptiles for sale and has failed to update his site. Now I have had to dispute this with my bank and paypal after asking for a refund and getting a smart elec reply back that I should have called for availability.

Why do people do this? This post couldn't be more vague. Post proof and elaborate. Sheesh.
 
Websites are out of date as a rule. I would never advise sending money without calling first. I usually check the BOI, check with any contacts who might know the person, check out facebook, and then call with any remaining questions I have.
 
Well its on here so people can know now. And also. The dude is a jerk. But as for Outback reptiles. You guys are awesome and always send good quality reptiles

Some information needed is this: Any reference to Mike is Mike from Outback. In addition, there were a few phone calls between Joseph and myself, and Mike and myself. Mike said you need permits to have Burms and Retics shipped to Florida. Joseph has a Florida exchange. I apologized to Joseph for the mix up and went out of my way a couple times to help him find alternative animals. I was even willing to drive to Outback Reptiles and pay them cash for the Retic he wanted to buy from Mike. I told Joseph I was out of town doing educational shows in Pittsburgh for the first two days and would be able to acknowledge this mix up on Wednesday.

Joseph, shame on you.

Admittedly, the emails appear to have gaps, perhaps supplemented by phone calls, so over all it is hard to track what happened. We went from Viper Boas, to Solomon, to Retic.

So curious how the situation went from "refund it when you get a chance" on 11/10/14 to a BOI post one day later. What triggered that?
 
I told him I would take a retic in its place. The retic was 175. Plus Shipping. He already has 230 of my money. But he don't wanna cover ShippING wich is less than he owes me. It's ok. My bank and paypal are disputING it. And I've given him til today to refund my money. My bank also has looked into this and his site is fraudulent and falsely advertises. So they are getting my money back regardless and wells Fargo will also prosecute him at that point. It's his choice. I don't like getting scammed and a false site is exactly what that does. He could have reversed the paypal as soon as he received notification of funds. But chose not to. Instead over the phone he went on about his paypal account being in the negative. So that tells me his credit is bad if he let's his accounts go unpaid. I just want my money back and after that I'm notifying Google about his site and this whole ordeal.
 
You see, Joseph couldn't be less clear. I have nothing to do with the sale of a retic to him. I said I would use whatever money he recklessly sent me and go out of my way to pay Outback. They are the ones that charge for shipping. yeah, there are holes in the story that can be filled with phone calls. To be honest, I don't know how it went from "refund when you get a chance" to this post.

I told you I was on the road for the next two days and I would take care of it when I got back. I didn't even get home before my phone rang telling me of your smear campaign Joseph. So, if you insist on continuing down this path, I will take you at your original word and "refund when I get a chance". That is after all what you sent to me in writing. I'm not worried about a bank prosecuting me. I'm well aware of how businesses run. I've been successfully running a business doing educational reptile programs for almost 20 years. To throw accusations of my credit being bad because of a negative PayPal account or saying I'm a failed business is slander... You SHOULD watch what you type. It can and will be used for evidence. Now, instead of me making YOUR problem a priority today, I'm bundling up all this stuff you've posted and sent me and talking to my attorney. I will start refund procedures on Friday, provided you stop with the slander. Keep it up and I'll make sure my bank ties it up for 30 days... And that my friend, is completely legal.

Forgetting all the other communications prior, it seems like the alternative animal option has fizzled out. Is there any reason not to simply refund the money and you both wipe your hands of the situation? A simple credit back through Paypal today and 5 minutes later this is done. Correct?

This is a lie. The truth is, I never even got a chance to discuss what Mike was charging for shipping before Joseph asked for a refund. Mike wanted to make sure Joseph had permits to have them shipped because of his Florida area code. Joseph expected all this to happen at the snap of a finger on days when Outback was closed and I was preparing for a two day trip. He was completely unreasonable. He didn't make any concerns of being "taken" to me or Mike. we assumed everything was alright. Then I see this post. Joseph, this is not how business runs.
 
Sean, I was typing when you posted previously. I still think the best thing for you both is just put hurt feelings aside and do the refund. There have been plenty of BOI threads that get dragged out because of pride on both sides. In the end 'both' parties, right or wrong come out looking bad and damaged.

You both have a chance now to be done and move on with your lives.
 
Sean. I can reverse a pyment with my phone. I travel alot also. And I never advertise something that I don't have. And if someone is not satisfied, I will refund their money asap. But you are advertising stuff that you don't have. You cost Mike a sale also with your bad attitude. And paypal just told me they are moving forward with the dispute and are going to take my funds back for me. There's no excuse for you. I have all the emails saved . I'm getting my money back. And everyone else gets to see how Shady you are from now on

Robert, there are no hurt feelings. I will refund him his money. It's just not a priority today. I'm heading to my warehouse to clean and feed animals, then bundle up all this stuff Joseph sent me and have a talk with my attorney. Been gone for two days. They are my priority today. Let's see how Joseph wants to handle this... Keep it up and it might not be a priority tomorrow either.
 
I'll send this email to my bank and paypal. I'm getting my money back from them Sean. But you keep on letting people on here see how Shady you are. I'll let everyone know if I the bank had to get it or if you give it back.then the rest of the world can see if you ate credible
 
Also on a note. I guarantee my high end reptiles. If you see it advertised, it's in stock. I offer money back guarantee on every thing and the animal pictured is what you get. And by chance this situation did ever occur I will reverse the funds immediately
