    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

In order for these Caramels to be from a kink free line, both the SK and Bell line Caramels would have to be kink free.

Read the text again. It was produced from pairing a .1 het Caramel from the SK line to a 1. Caramel from the Bell line. I know you have Rick blocked and did not read the ad, but how hard would it be to unblock him long enough to read the ad and make an informed reply?

Obviously these animals are not from a "kink free" line. Again, both the SK and Bell lines of Caramels would have to be "kink free" in order for that to be accurate. Even if it were true before now it is no longer because of the kinked animal in this clutch.
Rick has taken the animal down from the ad. He has also said that he is not going to sell it. The ad no longer claims that the snakes are from a "kink free" line(s.)
I doubt Rick purposely placed a photo of a severely kinked animal in his ad. He would have had to know that somebody would catch it and post this thread.
If he were trying to scam somebody he would have probably just put up one, two, or three pictures, and sold all four hoping that whoever received the kinked animal would not notice or complain.
Maybe it was, as I believe, an honest mistake.

In Ralphs Kinked Caramels video he calls his severely kinked animals "train wrecks," and then says, "Are they breeders?" Only to answer himself with "not necessarily."
Why not say, "Absolutely Not!"

The facts are that Caramels kink and Spiders wobble. Not every one in every clutch but there is not one line that absolutely does not.
Ricks Caramels are no more or less prone to kink than a Caramel from Ralph, or anyone else.

Am I really coming to Ricks defense? I said that it was obvious that the animals were misrepresented as coming from a "kink free" line for more than one reason. I did point out that Rick had corrected his ad, and was not selling the severely kinked animal. Did that bother you?
I guess you are amazed that I think it may have been an honest mistake. That is my opinion, and you are welcome to disagree.

The only reason he corrected it was because he was called out on it. The first time he "corrected" it, he just removed the picture of the animal but left in there that there were no kinked animals in the clutch. Finally he removed the whole ad and replaced it.

How did he sex the animals properly but couldn't see a huge kink or feel it? It's a valid question.
 
It's weird being around Fauna long enough to see the generations of BOI dominators change. Same pompous attitudes, and never-ending repetitive crap. Just different names. Interesting.
 
The scammers, the liers, the fake Het sellers, it is all cyclicle too...and repetative crap, with some new names, and some old names, and some new names that were old names....

You are correct John. At least one of them is kinked as we can tell from the pics. Rick could say that the three Caramels he is still selling are "kink free," but not that they are from a "kink free line." Especially when they are the offspring of two different lines.
He was wrong and has corrected his ad.

Yeah, he's corrected the ad, but putting it up in the first place is the problem. There's only two explanations for the original ad:
1) He was purposely being deceptive and leading people to believe that the caramels were from a kink free line. He may have even been trying to sell the kinked animal.
2) He's so negligent in his care of his animals he didn't even realize that the animal had a kink until it was brought to his attention here in the BOI.

I personally don't buy theory number 2, even with his whole cataract surgery excuse. That animal SCREAMS kink! It's impossible for someone not to notice that with just the minimal amount of attention and care. I mean, he was able to take a picture of the animal, somewhat in focus, right? That means his eyesight was good enough to notice the GLARING birth defect.

So, that means that he must have placed the ad knowing that there WAS a kinked animal produced in the clutch, but still states that the clutch was kink-free.

That's incredibly dishonest.

I am all for giving people the benefit of the doubt -- deceptive selling is not something new for rick.

I will tell you what is sad. That they were in your care for "eleven days" and you never seen the kink in all that time. Pretty sad and pretty telling.

Because if you did notice it in that 11 days, one would think an honest caring man like yourself would have immediately came and changed that ad.
 
I'm curious. As a non-Ball Python person, why the animosity towards Rick? I remember he bought some animals from Joe Capone (not good...I agree) but has anyone actually had a problem with his animals?

This is not support, just genuine curiosity

a few folks dislike me Jas, Tosa, plus her friend Gail Thorpe and a few others..... They want to put me out of business.....simple.
The funny thing is I have a great trader rating.....and some folks emailed me about this thread.
I could have come in and reported a guy who sent me two animals......yep the wrong ones. I paid for say pastels and i received pastels....I worked it out with him and moved on. I received an animal in a USED bag.....kept mouth shut. Also received animals without heat bag! Kept mouth shut....I don't need to bash people but folks need to do that.
My eye site is still not 100% but getting there.
I could write a book of facts and when reading it you would think it is fiction!

Oh BTW I am no longer friends with nor wish to be with Joe Capone. I missed judge him all together.
Most folks ignore the boi as far as I my business is concerned.
