I just received permission from Jesse to post our exchange of emails, so here they are. Please note the response date of Natalie's emails to Jesse - today at 12:57pm. So the page was JUST removed....
This reads kind of strange...
The first set of emails are the ones exchanged by Jesse and Natalie. The second set are the ones exchanged by Jesse and myself. I have removed the duplicates of the exchange between Jesse and Natalie in the ones he sent to me, just for better reading.

Natalie,
There's no need to be insulting about this. We mean you no ill will by asking you to remove plagiarized web content from your site. Our server records/site backups show when our policies went online, so there is no question who originally wrote the policies, and who plagiarized them. Thank you for removing them from your site.
Our rescue is not active on Fauna and we are not connected with their moderators/leadership. We were contacted about your plagiarized material by a third party who was concerned for our rescue. Had you contacted us originally about using our policies as a template for your own, we would have been glad to discuss options with you.
If your rescue is legitimate, we wish you the best in your endeavors. If you have commercial intentions, just call yourself a dealer who takes in unwanted reptiles, and it will remove the undesired scrutiny you've attracted by calling yourself a rescue. We have a local pet store that takes in many unwanted pet reptiles and resells them, and they have a positive reputation because they don't claim to be a rescue. Rescues and dealers can work together, but if you're being misleading about intentions it does not benefit anyone.
Thanks for your time and cooperation. We wish you the best in your endeavors.

Hello,
We were recently notified that our "Policies" link (
http://forgottenfriend.org/policies.php) has been duplicated by your website (
http://noahsarcreptilerescue.webs.com/noahsarccodeofethics.htm). Please be aware that plagiarism, even on the internet, is copyright infringement, is considered intellectual theft, and as so it is illegal. Although we are glad to work with other rescues, you did not ask permission to duplicate our website content, and therefor we must kindly ask you to remove or re-write your code of ethics to avoid copyright infringement violations.
The last thing we want to do is pursue criminal charges against other rescues that share our goals, but I hope you understand our conflict here. We must protect the intellectual property on our website in the same way we protect the rest of our property here at the rescue. Thanks for your understanding and good luck with your rescue.

Sure feel free to post our exchange. I BCCed you and the other Kelly on my last response to her so you can post that as well, if you want.

Jesse,
I am not surprised at her response at all. I just checked, and it does look like the page was removed.
Sounds stupid, but do I have your permission to post this exchange on the BOI? I think, if anything, it would bring even more out about her credibility. Although she has already proven herself to be a big-time scammer, I think people need to see her response to you. If not, that is cool, I just thought it might be good for people to see.
See you soon!

Hi Kelly,
Thanks for the email. Another Kelly from Fauna also emailed me a few days ago about this, so I sent an email asking them to kindly remove or rewrite their code of ethics page, since it was copied without permission (and they did not sound like the kind of organization Forgotten Friend wanted to be associated with). I would gladly let other rescues use some of our stuff as a template (as some groups have done for us) but blatant copyright violations by shady groups is not something I want to condone. You can see the email we sent them (and their childish response) below.
Thanks for the heads up and we'll see you in January! Have a great Christmas
Jesse

Hey Jesse, how are you?
I have been reading a thread on Fauna's BOI, and it appears that you may have already gotten an email, but apparently there is someone claiming to be a rescue that has "stolen" your "Code of Ethics" page onto their website. I just wanted to make sure you were aware, just in case it means anything to you. The girl doing this so-called rescue looks to actually be taking in animals then flipping/SELLING them rather quickly. Here is a link to the thread, just in case you don't have it.

Hope things are good on your end! I will email you soon about the show, things are looking good! Talk to you soon!
